About Vivekananda College: From Admissions to Campus Life

Overall Rating
Vivekananda College Kolkata is much better than other government colleges with nice infrastructure, facilities, and very good social life. The college is also well reputed in the area. It is very old and it is one of the best in the area as well. It is also NAAC (A) accredited. The college is well known among the students.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility criteria is quite simple you just need good marks in your last qualifying paper. I wanted to make my career in Finance and I think this course will help me make a strong foundation in it. The admission process is quite simple and free of cost. The exams difficulty level are mid. if you study well, you can pass it with very good marks.
Per semester, the student has pay Rs. 3,600 (all category students). Rs. 4,100 is charged for the unreserved category students. The reserved category students can get 15 to 20% off.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty are well experienced and supportive. They use blackboards, PPTs, and interactive classes to make the students improve. They solve all your doubts and queries. They are very nice and try to help every student. The faculty members are really helpful and caring. They also provide study materials that are very useful for university exams. You can get to learn from them that is very beneficial for you. Overall, there are good faculties.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is located just beside Thakurpukur metro station and is easily accessible. The campus is better as compared to other colleges with big classrooms and big ground. The classrooms have projectors for AV learning. The college also has garden, library, seminar hall, auditorium, canteen, etc. It is overall a good college and you get a good infrastructure with various opportunities for self-growth and development.
 

Campus Rating
The annual social fest 'Prayas' is usually held in the month of January. Many celebrities are invited to perform in this fest. There are both indoor and outdoor games. There are some clubs such as the Eco club, Photography club, etc. You can join clubs and be a part of it. Vivekananda College Kolkata also participates in many inter college events so you can participate in that as well.

    Vivekananda College is one of the best colleges in Kolkata to pursue degree in Science and Commerce.     Vivekananda College is an undergraduate college, established in 1950. It is one of the best A-Graded colleges and its Science stream ranks number one among other colleges in Kolkata.
