My Institute Experience

Overall Rating
Our College is present in Eastern side of Odisha in Jharsuguda. The college looks like new college I am from Jharsuguda itself I know about this college as it is good and Ambience is awesome. This is a Private engineering institute is under Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha. The College is known for its innovative teaching methodology.
 

Academics Rating
There is only two courses available in this institute first one is B.Tech 4 year course and B.Tech lateral entry course. The course fees is around Rs. 50,000 yearly. I joined this institute by spot admission. If you want to take admission in this college then you can join through JEE entrance and for lateral students they can join through OJEE exam.
 

Faculty Rating
Very Less faculties are available in Black Diamond College of Engineering. In all branches around 10-15 faculties are present. In my branch total 13 faculties are present. Average faculties are having good experience but some teacher are doing temporary lecture. The lab assistants are also good. I choose this college because I am weak in programming and in my area there is no good college that's why I choose this college to learn programming and Software related subject to get IT jobs.
 

Placement Rating
In my batch we get very less opportunity for COVID situation. Around 10-15 student get placed in Computer Science on campus placement, but few student get placed in Infosys, Silicon Tech Lab, Wipro with an average package of Rs. 3.5 LPA. The institute provides all kinds of training related to crack the job interviews.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel available for both boys and girls. One best thing about hostel is it is totally noise free. I never stayed in hostel. I stayed in a private mess. You can stay outside also. The hostel warden checks every day and take attendance. The hostel fees is around Rs. 4000-5000 per month.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Black Diamond College of Engineering campus is in 30 acres. They provide only Engineering courses so that the college campus is not like Big campus. The academic block is separate, Hostel block is separate, and Playground is separate. Library where all journals and books are available. The labs and class rooms are in good condition. The college is providing internet facility but very less. There is 1 Seminar hall where all types of presentation, workshop are done.
 

Campus Rating
All kind of study related facilities are available. Like playground, the hostel campus is full of tree because Jharsuguda is also polluted area because lots of industrial areas and plants. The institute campus is very neat and clean. We celebrate all functions like annual function, Fresher function and Other Festival likes Holi, Diwali, Ganesh puja, Saraswati Puja and Biswakarma puja. This institute changed my life.
