A Deep Dive into ICFAI University West Tripura

Overall Rating
This is the top private university in Tripura; the campus is really big and amazing. Since I belong to Tripura so I opted for the university. It offers variety of courses and other facilities. The university curriculum is also good. This university also provides hostel and mess facilities to the students so that they can stay inside the university for their ease. Students also come from other states, so it's a good facility for them.
 

Academics Rating
My course is B.Tech CSE (Computer Science and Engineering). This is a highly paid course which makes you quicker at landing a job. The eligibility for the course is you must have science background i.e. 10th and 12th and should score at least of 50 % marks in 10th and 12th boards. After that you are eligible to apply to ICFAI University for this course. Here exams are conducted quite often; regular exams are taken almost two times a month.
For B.Tech CSE the semester fee is Rs. 55,000 and for the whole year the course fee is Rs. 1,10,000. This is a four year course so in total you have to pay almost Rs. 5, 00,000. Scholarships are also provided on the basis of merit of 12th boards and other competitive exams.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties at ICFAI University related to this course are mostly Ph.D holder and master’s holder. The faculties are good enough. You will be assigned different faculty for different subjects and also extra faculties for lab and other works. Their teaching is also good and nice. The teacher student ratio is like 1:50. For me, I have great bonding with the faculty members and they help me a lot. They are easily approachable to talk and also for extra class or help.
 

Placement Rating
Here in this university at the end of your course or at the last year of your course completion many companies hire through on campus visits also you can apply for off campus too. The job roles offered are software developer, web developer, full stack developer, etc. Companies like HCL, Infosys, IBM, etc. have already offered job to the students in this university. The average package offered is like 5 to 6 lakh per annum. And the highest package offered is 20 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facilities are really good at ICFAI University. The mess facilities are also available in the university. The girls and boys hostels are separate. The mess food is also good enough. The hostel and mess fee is Rs. 34,200 per semester and Rs. 68,400 is per year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of ICFAI University, Tripura is so big. The infrastructure is really an amazing infrastructure. Also it has multipurpose big play field. Badminton court, basketball court, TT court and more too. The classrooms are good and clean, they have smart boards, sufficient fans and lights and free internet also. They also have medical facility, emergency transport facility and sports and canteen facility too.
 

Campus Rating
All together campus life is great. At night the campus looks too good because of its lighting and other attractive things. In campus we also have a park, a well defined big gym. The social life is also great. There are no clubs and other things like that. But provides engagement activities and programs, like ICERIA, NOVATOS, and other university fests and programs as well. In my point of view the university is really great and amazing. You must visit the university someday to experience its beauty.
