My Journey at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak

Overall Rating
Maharshi Dayanand University is overall good. Its infrastructure is really good. The library, labs, garden, and all facilities are awesome here. Faculty of Maharshi Dayanand University is also very nice. Their teaching method is good but placement is not so good here we have to try off campus placement if we are eligible. only 30 to 40 percent students get the on campus placement as only few companies visit here.
 

Academics Rating
My cousin has already done B.Tech from Maharshi Dayanand University. She told me about this university and she is the only motivation for me to take admission here. You can take admission here through JEE Mains exam or physical counselling. Exams are not so hard here.
If we talk about fees structure here it is taken semester wise. My semester fees were Rs. 45,512 and 2nd sem fees is Rs. 41,580. The registration fees and other charges are included in 1st sem fees. There is a special discount given to reserved category. Some problem is faced by general category students. Scholarship is available here but it has a very little amount that cannot help the student.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members of Maharshi Dayanand University are very nice to us and helpful. Some of them are Ph.D scholars. Method of teaching is common on blackboard. There are no other activities organised for skills representation. Problem solving ability of the faculty here is not that good. Teachers to students Ratio is good. If I talk about bonding with teacher this is not so good but they all are much disciplined.
 

Placement Rating
Placement at Maharshi Dayanand University is not so high at this institute but placement cell is present here. It helps the students to fulfill the criteria and try for jobs offered by different companies. Placement fair is held in campus in which different companies visit and interviews are taken and then the students are selected. The highest package is 7-8 lakh and average package is 3-4 lakh.
 

Hostel Rating
Maharshi Dayanand University offer residence facilities. There is complex for boys and girls separately. There are 10 hostels in girl’s hostel complex. Every hostel has 2 blocks. We can say every hostel contains 350-400 students and girls hostel are separate. My hostel mess is very good. A variety is seen in food in the mess. Hostel fees are Rs. 14,520 from which Rs. 4,000 is refundable. Timings of hostel are 6 to 8. Hostel life is amazing at Maharshi Dayanand University.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of Maharshi Dayanand University is nice as there is greenery. The camps size is 450 acre. Classrooms are not so good but about 200 to 250 students can sit in class. There are many buildings like library, auditorium, conference hall, and more & all of these are well managed. There are canteens in every 2 footsteps. Security is so tight at Maharshi Dayanand University. my favorite place is both where we can eat and talk to our friends
 

Campus Rating
If I talk about my overall campus life then I would say that it is good as there are so many fests held in our university. There is a lot of crowd in fest. There are many clubs in Maharshi Dayanand University but I am not member of any of them. There is a sports complex and visual arts and other activities held in our University. They develop social skills, academic performance and more. There are many fests held like Diwali, Holi, etc. at Maharshi Dayanand University.

It’s a good place if you are clear about your goals and stay focused. The teachers are supportive if you reach out to them, and they complete the syllabus on time.     I am Aditya, enrolled in ECE 2024-2028 batch. The overall review of mine about this university is average. If you have come mainly for studies, be very specific in choosing your friends, the teachers are helpful if you need them and they complete the syllabus on time.     My college life was very good. It is the best university that provides you with every opportunity that a student wants. The main attraction of this university is the large size of the campus (622 acres) and also the campus is ranked 1st in cleanliness rating. It has every facility including cricket stadium, swimming pool, athletic track, squash court, tennis court, volleyball, kabaddi, basketball, and many more.
