RIT Visakhapatnam Offers Peaceful Environment

Overall Rating
Our institute is good for its infrastructure and serene environment. It is very spacious. At the time of admission, first thing I liked about this institute was its environment. Talking about course curriculum & faculty, course curriculum is good & relevant for future and faculty is also good. One thing that other institutes may not have is that we get placement preparation & training from 1st year onwards. This is one of the best thing for join in this institute.
 

Academics Rating
To join this institute, one should write AP EAMCET entrance exam. You will get seat in your preferred course if you get the average rank for that course. I chose CSE in this institute. To join in this course, the rank should be below 18000 for general category. In this course, we have 8 semesters. In final semester, we do not have any semester exam as we only project work.
As I mentioned, we will get seat based on the rank. If we get through our rank, the tuition fee will be Rs. 61,000. Else, if we get management seat, our yearly fee will be Rs. 1,20,000. Additionally, we have university fee, NBA, CRT fee, and fee for value added course per semester or year. This will nearly charge Rs. 30,000.
 

Faculty Rating
Some faculty teaches really well. We have different subjects and based on the subjects, we have teaching methods like using blackboards, PPTs, group discussion, JAM, and others. Teachers are available for students in the institute timings and they explain all the things within these timings. Some faculty are also available all the time. Faculty members are mostly qualified professors, associate professors having PhDs.
 

Placement Rating
We have an active placement cell at RIT Visakhapatnam where they conduct training for students from 1st year. It sends every eligible student’s details to various companies and mails students regarding the hiring process. We have a 4 to 5 days for training before placement drive. Companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Akrivia have visited our institute in the past and selected students. Placement process mostly has cognitive round, technical interview and HR interview. Some companies may have GD round.
 

Hostel Rating
I didn't stay in hostel so I don't know much about it. But there are separate hostel for both girls and boys. The mess food is good as I listen from my friends. Some of the rules are strict here, as students aren’t allowed to roam in the campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
I like infrastructure of our institute. All the blocks are connected to each other from inside. 1st & 2nd year students have separate blocks. For 3rd and final year students, we have department wise blocks. There is a nice park to chill with friends. We have a big seminar hall of capacity 1500 students. We also have libraries, labs, cricket ground, indoor stadium, basketball court, main canteen and mini canteens in the block. My favorite place is bus parking area and temple ground.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is good. There is a huge strength in RIT Visakhapatnam. We find students everywhere during class timings also if there is no guards there. Different events and fests were used to be organized in the campus. However, they haven’t been conducted since past few years. I hope that the institute starts organizing these kind of events again regularly.. Recently it organized E-summit. There are many student clubs, which supports innovation and development such as GFG club, GDC, arts club, e-cell, dance club, etc.

    The campus is huge and very good. It has good infrastructure and separate buildings for different branches. It has a cafeteria, libraries, gym, hostel facility, indoor stadium, labs, and lab equipments with proper Wi-Fi. Overall, the experience is good.     I joined this college through EAMCET. I secured 18000 ranks and I opted this college. I luckily selected to CSE course after EAMCET allotment. On joining day we have to submit our previous 10th and 12th marks memos at main block. I completed my first year with a good CGPA.     My experience in Raghu Institute of Technology is enriched with all activities like both studies and other cultural. The institute has a vibrant student community where students from diverse background come together. A great facility of faculty and also the infrastructure where there is an availability of all equipment like computers and mechanic parts or electrical devices.
