JSSATE Bengaluru: Gateway to Industrial Experience & Skills

Overall Rating
JSSATE Bengaluru is one of a kind college for students. It has all facilities including sports, academics, and extracurricular activities. It is student oriented and has many skill upgrading events. The staff is really supportive and encourages students to take part in skill development activities. Students gain industrial experiences. The college hosts hackathons and lets the students build up good network with industrial experts. It also hosts a lot of unique fests and cultural programs. It has good placements and skill development cells.
 

Academics Rating
The branch that I have chosen is CSE in AI ML. Since AI ML is in boom, it has lots of opportunities and potential. It is a really good subject of research and future developments. One can take admission to this college through KCET, COMEDK, and management quota. We have frequent examination, which keeps students on track and up to date with academics. We have skill-based subjects and encourage entrepreneurship. Practical knowledge is gained through this skill based events and competitions are sponsored by industrial experts and IITs.
The fee of my course is Rs. 1,25,000 per annum. I entered in this college through KCET. There are discounts for meritorious and financially weaker students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties of this course are really cooperative and supportive. They are knowledgeable and skilled. They use equipment such as projectors and subject related instruments. They encourage us to participate in industrial level events and try their level best to expose us to the real world problems and make us real engineers. They give us assignments such as research based so that we learn about research. The staff is always available.
 

Placement Rating
Our college has good placements and also offers decent packages. Everything in the end is based on the skills and knowledge based.
 

Hostel Rating
The college offers residential facilities. The hostels are neat and clean. Girls and boys have separate hostels. Mess food is quite all right. The fee is about Rs. 60,000 per annum. I am not sure about the hostel facilities much as I am a day scholar.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is of 21 acres with lush green gardens. The campus has 3 blocks: A block, which has CSE, ISE, AI ML, & Robotics, B block for ECE, and C block consists of Civil and Mechanics. Library has good study materials and is easily accessible. Labs are really well. There are two canteens and has decent varieties. There is a lake inside JSSATE Bengaluru, which is known as Idly Lake.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is great. One can find multilingual students and is a really good place to socialize. The crowd is definitely friendly. There are many clubs. Many activities such as hackathons, fests, and road shows. Each department holds its own fests. There are also many other cultural events such as ethnic days and ‘Samyog’, a cultural fest. The clubs are for Video editing, Dance, singing, coding, and many more unique skills.

    I am a first year student. In my opinion, JSS Academy of Technical Education, is good. It has beautiful campus and faculties are well behaved. We have to maintain attendance because faculties are strict in this matter. After coming here, you will get good friends and you will get to know you have lot of things to learn.     Overall Rating
    We have a 21-acre lush green campus with grounds and courts to play many sports. In addition, there many benches around campus to sit, eat and chill. All students are lively. It has been almost 2 months in this college and I am enjoying it. Main highlight JSSATEB is environment and campus. There was also fresher’s day, which was awesome.... Read Full Review

    JSS Academy of Technical Education is a really good college which has a very huge campus (full of greenery). It has little pond which makes the college view more beautiful.
