Fee Structure at RGUKT Basar Nirmal:

I joined RGUKT Basar Nirmal after tenth by writing entrance test named TG POLYCET. Actually, we joined this university in a different way. University takes new students based on their class 10th CGPA. During my time of admission, most of the students passed SSC with high CGPA during pandemic. Therefore, that year, university filled the seats through TG POLYCET ranks (exclusively for our batch only). Overall, the university is good with areas of improvement.

Academically, RGUKT Basar Nirmal is so good. It conducts exams in time. The exam structure is like we have 4 semesters in pre-university course (Intermediate) and 8 semesters in B.Tech. Every semester consists of 100 marks, where 40 marks are for internal and 60 for end semester exam. In internals, it conducts 3 mid exams for 15 marks each and takes best of two for 30 marks and rest of ten marks are given through assignments.

For every year, we have to pay Rs. 40,000. However, I belong to OBC category and my family income is also below 1.5 Lakh, so my fee is paid by government.

Most of the faculty teaches well. Actually, most of our faculties have done M.Tech & PhD from IITs. They do have lots of knowledge. They always use their knowledge to improve our skills. In our branch (Computer Science & Engineering), they are quite good. They do use projectors whenever needed and try their maximum to make us understand. The teacher to student ratio is 25:1000. They interact with us in groups as the number of students in much high.

Campus of RGUKT Basar Nirmal occupies a total area of 270 acres. It is location is Basar Mandal, Nirmal district Telangana state. It is very near Basara Saraswati temple. We have 3 blocks for Engineering branches and two academic blocks for classes, meetings, to conduct exams, etc. The classes are too big to accommodate 100 students easily. Each class contains projectors and faculty uses them regularly. There is supermarket inside the campus itself where all the things are available.

My campus life is best as it is with ups and downs. I do feel that I learnt a lot here. There is no spoon-feeding here and that makes you search and conquer what you want. My friends make me happy and they keep me always comfortable. When I came to university, I was a bit terrified seeing lots of people who crossed the entrance test with marks better than me and then one of my senior helped me. I feel this university is simply superb to explore, learn, and succeed in life. Few events and activities are held in the campus from time to time in order maintain balance in the life of students.
