VSSUT has fantastic placements

Overall Rating
Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology is one of the oldest institutes in Odisha and it’s established in 1956. This institute is having every study materials and essentials and it’s containing several courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, BCA, PhD etc. The University is located in a very good area of nature which is having Heerakud dam nearby.
 

Academics Rating
VSSUT has very good results of any type of academic projects and the process to get selected in this institute for B.Tech you need to give an entrance JEE main, OJEE etc. for other courses. And you need to deposit fee Rs. 45,000 every year. My 1st motive to join this institute is because the experienced faculties in this institute they are extremely good at teaching.
 

Faculty Rating
There are minimum 300-400 faculties in this institute all are very good. As on my experience they really take care of students also who is not that good in studying they also always encourage them to get good marks also there are more than 30 faculties in my department they are very fluently teaching so that every student will understand well to every concept they are teaching.
 

Placement Rating
If you are talking about placements then seriously a bulk of placements every year comes to this institute from companies like L&T, JSW, Tata Steel, NVIDEA, Infosys, Wipro, Deloitte, Vedanta etc. Surely every student will get good placements with good packages.
 

Hostel Rating
There total 11 hostels are present in VSSUT among them 5 girls hostel and others are boys’ hostel. There is a common TV room, a sports room for playing sports like carom, table tennis. Foods provided are very good and hygienic. A garden for hostel which is well decorated. Every end of the year they conduct annual hostel sports events.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The University is based upon area of 502 acre. There is a Big conference hall, an auditorium, a separate administrative building, separate building for every department, separate rooms for faculties, Having canteen, and a big stadium for students. In every class room there is a projector provided for smart learning.
 

Campus Rating
I have enjoyed a lot and gain so much knowledge from this institute all the faculties are well acquainted with students’ weakness for studying so that they are very corporative. But there is a bit of ragging happening but it's just for fun purpose. There are several clubs like Robotic clubs, Music club, NSS club, Art clubs, Athletic club etc. In every end of academic session year They conduct a Tech fest for students in this many celebrities comes to entertain.

    This institute has everything that you need. Best campus, best faculties, best clubs, and best infrastructure. The clubs are vibrant and awesome. I got a decent percentile in JEE mains exam which is basically an engineering entrance exam. So I decided to get into this college because it was near to my house.     My overall experience is superb till now. Everything is good from hostel life to college life you will make new friends and overcome many fears like communication skills. Sometimes I get fed up with hostel food but you have to adjust as we living in hostel and had come to fulfill our dreams but there are many food stalls outside hostel so nothing to worry about food. You will explore many clubs, attend fest, and many other curricular activities which are superb according to me.... Read Full Review

    VSSUT is the oldest engineering college in Odisha, providing various technical courses. Its academics and reputation is what attracts students.     When I got the chance to admit in Veer Surender Sai University of Technology, Burla then my heart filled with a lot of happiness. I chose to stay in hostel.     Well this institute is one of the top universities in Odisha after IIT, NIT, and IIIT. This college is government college and it is affordable. I choose this college as this college was most suited for my rank. This college provides various extracurricular activities as it has more than 15 clubs like e-cell, vibrance, souls, etc....
