CDGI Indore: Academics, Faculty, and Fests

Overall Rating
My overall experience was good at CDGI Indore; I prefer this institute because of many reasons like the bus facility, the teaching curriculum, and overall facilities provided by the institute. The different thing in this institute is the bus which goes to different cities. As, I live in Sanawad, many of the institutes doesn’t provide the facility for the students who live out of Indore, so this was the best choice. Overall experience is excellent at this institute till now.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in Computer Science because I have interest in coding, programming, and logic building. To be eligible for admission in this course, the student should have the Computer Science subject in 10th and 12th with good percentages. Admissions process of the institute is very easy. The exams are held in every semester. The overall academics is good because they prepare us for the real-life challenges as well. The exams need a good understanding of concepts and then the paper is easy to crack.
The fee of one year for B.Tech in Computer Science is Rs. 1,20,000. There is a discount for the people, who are from different categories. They get a relief in the fee and scholarships are also available for the academically good students.
 

Faculty Rating
The teaching methods of faculty are very much good. The behavior of the faculties is good. They treat every student equally and help each & every student in their problems, they teach via whiteboard and PPT. I have a good bonding with my favorite members like Radheshayam Sir, he teaches very well. All the teachers explain every concept very clearly and with a positive approach so that the students can understand efficiently.
 

Placement Rating
CDGI Indore has a placement cell. It helps many students to acquire jobs in their respective industries. Many webinars and seminars are held for the welfare of the students. Many renowned companies visit institute for recruitment such as Infosys, TCS, Hotwax, Impetus, and many others.
 

Hostel Rating
I haven’t opted for the hostel facility because I live in Indore, but many of my friends live in hostel, and they feel very safe there. The food is excellent and hygiene is the priority. I don’t know about the hostel fee. Hostel rules are like they cannot go out of the hostel without permission from the warden for the same.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus infrastructure is overall excellent. Campus size is very big. Seating capacity is for 70 to 80 students in a classroom. There is a library. Many of the labs, seminar hall, auditorium, and conference halls. A canteen is also available in the campus and is well maintained with hygiene. We play cricket at the ground. Transport facilities are good. Buses are available. Students can opt for transportation facilities.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is excellent. CDGI Indore is not much crowded because of the limited seats. There are many extracurricular activities organized by the institute like hackathons and seminars. My favorite thing in the institute is the event which is held every year named ‘Citronics’. It is conducted in March and the theme for 2025 is cyber security. The overall experience is excellent here.
