Overall Rating
Overall experience at NUSRL Ranchi is good. I chose this university as it was near to my hometown. I earlier got other college that was very far away from my hometown. One more reason of choosing is college was that I liked the city Ranchi. Academically, the university is on average level and is ok.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility criterion is that you will have to pass class 12th examination and appear in CLAT. Admission process is simple. After giving the exam and appearing in the counseling, you will be allotted NUSRL Ranchi. You will have to pay the fee online. Then, the college will invite you for orientation. After document verification, you can join the university. There are 2 exams per semester.
The annual fee is around 2.15 Lakh. The tuition fee is Rs. 55,000 per semester. When you join, that time, you have to pay admission fee that is Rs. 11,000.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are actually supportive here. They all are well qualified. Most of them are specialized in their respective subjects. Most of the teachers teach using smart boards, they also provide PPTs and other materials. Along with this, they guide you for research if you approach them. About 40 faculties are available. The faculties are really approachable. Group discussions also take place in the classes. Whenever you will ask doubts, they will most of the time clear it.
 

Placement Rating
There is one internship and placement committee in the university, which is active.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is average. Currently, construction is going on. We have facilities. In classrooms, we have smart boards, air conditioners, fans, etc. Library is there which remains open until 10 PM in night. Plenary hall is available here. In classrooms, approximately 70 students can sit easily. The campus area is huge and is full of greenery. We have basketball court, volleyball ground, 4 badminton courts, football ground, as well as cricket ground. We have gym facility available.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, life is an average because. Inside the campus, it is safe and good. Fests happen every semester. Yuventas happened in last November. Centers such as centre for Legal Aid, Centre for Gender Justice, etc. are available here. We also have cultural club, literary society, sports committee, etc. Among the extracurricular activities, we have moots, debate competitions, singing, dancing, etc. Most of the festivals are celebrated.

    When I first gave CLAT and was allotted National University of Study and Research in Law, I was actually very disappointed because since I am from Jharkhand, I did not want to stay in the same state for university.     Considering it to be an upper tier 3 NLU, the experience one gets is quite good. Although the opportunities won't be same as any tier 1 or tier 2 NLUs but definitely it's going to be better than many other private colleges.
