Academics & Culture of AIT Bangalore Overall Review

Overall Rating
AIT Bangalore is really good and value for money. The main reason I chose this institute as it is close to my house and is a well-reputed institute. It is spread in 17 acres of land, surrounded by greenery, and well equipped with facilities. There are many events conducted every month and Ted talks are also conducted. The teaching faulty is also very skilled and knowledgeable
 

Academics Rating
The course, which I have chosen, is Electronics & Communication Engineering. The entry requirements are that you should have 75% marks in 12th. There are two internal exams between every semester and semester exam in every 6 months. The institute has many internship opportunities.
The fee for management quota student is 2 Lakh for ECE for the first year. An extra sum of Rs. 3,000 has to pay every semester to write semester exam. It is registration fee for the exam. Discounts are given if you belong to reserved category or rank in entrance exam.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of AIT Bangalore is very good and skillful. The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They teach topics in such a way that it becomes easy for us to understand. There are a minimum of three teachers for each subject. They help us to solve our problems by taking extra classes during exams. The teachers do not do partiality among students.
 

Placement Rating
There are many big companies like Bosch, Philips, Google, and Tech Mahindra that approach college to recruit the students. There is a separate placement cell in the institute, which help in pavement opportunities. The highest placement received last year was 12 LPA given by Bosch.
 

Hostel Rating
The institute has separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostels are very clean and modern. The institute has wardens and security guards. Permission needs to be taken to go out of hostel. The food provided in the mess is also very good and has a lot of variety. We are allowed to outside the hostel with permission and come back before 8 PM at night.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The institute is spread in 17 acres of land. It is completely surrounded by trees, making it very cool and beautiful. The classrooms are equipped with smart TVs for teaching. The institute has two temples inside tithe campus. The institute also has a football turf, Basketball court, Shooting range for NCC, indoor games and a gym for students. The institute also has a good canteen with a lot of variety of food at affordable price.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is very calm and peaceful. The crowd is very nice. The seniors are very helpful to the seniors. It also conducts fresher’s party and many events every year for student’s entertainment. There is Ted talks conducted where celebrities and other famous personalities give insights of real world. There are many clubs in the institute. The institute also runs a NGO called the Atria foundation where they feed poor people every day.

    If you want to opt for degree related to technology then this college is good choice because it has overall good placement record. This college is in the heart of Bangalore which is the tech hub which is beneficial for students for applying off campus placement. Student should do hardwork by themselves.     The way Atria Institute of Technology is positioned in terms of ranking, I am sure it must be hurting them. I will be honest that I did M. Tech from here as this was one of the rare options that I had in Bangalore to do M. Tech. Ramaiah, Christ University, REVA University, and others either asked for donations or GATE scores.   • Atria Institute of Technology will never have commute issues

    AIT’s proximity is one of the best and commute issues will never be a problem. It has to be considered if you are a resident of Bangalore as I had 2 colleges to choose from, SVIT and AIT and even though I wanted to go to SVIT, I had to satisfy myself with AIT. I probably had no problems with AIT once I got in because AIT is also good even though it is never a first-choice college by the students.
