Overall Rating
AVV Coimbatore is known for its better placements and best infrastructure. The university provides workshops to the students for developing the skill at different sectors. On the other hand, field experience also is best input for the student to develop a lot. They also encourage in physical activity by attending different competitions. Many labs are conducted that help us in understanding the subjects in depth.
 

Academics Rating
The course I have chosen is ECE. The eligibility for applying is to write an entrance exam that conducted by the university and to get high score in this exam. Other way to get admission is to get in by JEE score where your rank will be allocated and made relatively based upon the applied students. For the exam, you have to prepare every single topic and never skip any lectures because it may create a backlog. Always make sure you have full attendance in all courses.
Fee is based on the rank and SLAB counseling.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is approachable. They encourage us a lot on the skill. They always use practical way of teaching which increase the depth knowledge of the course. Regular assignment and test helps in bringing the clarity in the courses. They use both PPT and blackboard to teach, depending on the topics need and sometimes even on sight class will be taken.
 

Placement Rating
As I said earlier, the college provides better placements to the eligible and skilled students. They keep students updated with latest opportunities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
AVV Coimbatore’s infrastructure is filled with greenery, making it fully eco-friendly. There are multiple buildings and with lab facilities for different department based on their needs. There is personal laboratory for students for research purpose, which is an additional advantage for them. Sports facilities are filled at the campus where all kind of grounds is available.
 

Campus Rating
Amrita has limited number of seats where only students with high rank can get the admission. The student’s get in are not only involved in the field which is related to their department, they also take part in different clubs to build their level at the field which is as a core advantage for them. Many competitions are been conducted and these clubs would be helpful for them to learn allot .many workshops are been conducted. The cultural fest is the best to bring vibrancy in the campus and help us bond with students of other departments also.

    AVV Coimbatore is a good and reputed university. It not only gives preference to academics it also gives preference to sports as well. The main reason I chose this university was placement but due to Covid, placement is less but after few years. It conducts many events and celebrates many festivals.     My experience as a student in AVV Coimbatore is very nice. This university is not like any other university as it is quite different from others. It felt very unique to me. Therefore, I joined this collage with JEE percentile of 92. There is a separate well-structured hostel for both boys and girls separately. It is a co-education system.     This college is surrounded by full of greenery, mountains and clouds. It has the best view during winters. I wanted a good college for CSE related course so I chose this college. Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is somewhat spiritual and it depends on you whether you choose that path or not but they celebrate many spiritual events.     In a holistic view Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is good in all terms like teaching, faculty interaction with the students, different facilities provided, infrastructure, hostel accommodation, mess food, and everything is good.     Amrita is one of the backup Institutes for students who try for Institutions like IIT and NIT. But for me it was not like that, I never thought that I will join Amrita in my lifetime.
