RVCE Bangalore is one of the oldest engineering college in India

Overall Rating
Our college RVCE is self financed engineering college. This college established in the year 1963. It is oldest institute. Our institute knows for Excellency of methodology. The management, curriculum activities, Training, placement all are best. The College infrastructure is pretty good. Most of the student depends upon this college. RVCE is AICTE approval.
 

Academics Rating
I joined B.Tech in 2018 by giving KCET entrance exam. You have to clear this exam with good rank. I got 229 rank. So I got admission easily. The course fees I paid that time is Rs. 1,20,000. The college having technical course like BE, M.Tech, MCA and MCA lateral entry course. I joined this college because of placement as this colleges has industry level teacher they provide all necessary materials to crack all the interviews.
 

Faculty Rating
Approximate 80%-90% faculty from my department are having PhD. Their expertise and teaching methodology is inspiring us. They majorly focus on average and poor student. If you want to ask doubt then they clear your doubts personally. Most of the faculties are encouraging us to do practical. Every month they conduct surprise test. They check out assessments every weekend. If you are weak in particular subject then they will help you to achieve that subject.
 

Placement Rating
I am from Computer Science department. So there are so many opportunities are there for us. For 7th semester student they give 200+ requirements. Most of the companies are Product base, startup and service based IT company. Our institute average package is 15 LPA to 17LPA.This year 1 student get placed with package of 48 LPA. Many companies like Walmart, JP Morgan, Qualcomm, Cisco are offering internship also.
 

Hostel Rating
There is 3 hostel is for boys and 2 hostel is for girls. The fees are 25000 to 45000 (for Boys) and 20000 to 78000 (for girls) it depends on hostels. Food are hygienic but not so much tasty cause we all know that hostel food is not like home food. But you can take outside also. The hostel doesn’t give permission to go outside after 10 pm. All rooms are 2 to 3 sharing. For final year student the room capacity is only 2. Apart from they provide news paper, Gym facility, Wi-fi facility.
 

Infrastructure Rating
RVCE is having 1 library where you can find all types of books with different authors. There is big study room is present there. Sports ground like Cricket, football, volleyball, Hockey fields are there and for indoor games Chess, table tennis, Badminton court, Carom is there. Labs are Air conditioning with LED and projector facility. One auditorium is there where all kind of seminar and convocations are organised.
 

Campus Rating
R.V. College of Engineering campus life is very cool. You never find any problem. They focus on study as well as extracurricular activities like Dance, Music, sports, gym, and yoga. There is Cafeteria is present. Where you can find all cuisine food like North Indian, South Indian, etc. They provide banking, transportation facilities. They institute campus is full of tree. There are so many garden are present where you can spend time with your friends.

    I joined this college in the year 2023 for BE course through KCET. I chose this college because in Karnataka it has the name of best engineering college and it has one of the best placement rates etc. The college is good and the infrastructures, academics and overall life in this college is good.
