Overall it's a very great college with an amazing campus spread across 850 acres. The thing I like the most about IITJ is that it focuses on your overall personality development apart from academics. Here you can explore different clubs such as astronomy, music, dance, drama, programming, robotics, entrepreneurship and what not!! You have a plethora of amazing opportunities available out there. You can follow your passion and choose the club of your choice. Also we have badminton courts of international standards, squash courts, running track, football ground and so on. Finally I would say that the 2 years of hard work is definitely worth it .

I was enrolled in B.Tech Mechanical Engineering course. Overall it has been a nice experience. I joined this course because I loved solving problems of mechanics during JEE days and I wanted to do a deep dive in this field. Here the teachers motivate you to think innovatively and try to make you curious about things. This is the best part I found regarding academics.

Overall the faculties are really good. Most of them have done a PhD in their respective fields and have a very deep knowledge of their subject. Many of the faculties also have a research background this itself speaks a lot about their knowledge and experience. Also they are always available to answer your doubts and queries.

We have state of the art buildings and a stunning campus. As soon as you enter from the gate there is a beautiful landmark called the knowledge tree. We have central lecture hall complex where all the lectures are conducted. One unique thing about IITJ which sets it apart from other IITs is that it has centralised dining facility. So students from M.Tech, PhD, MBA can have a chat with the B.Tech students over a meal. Also we have the only gold plated supercomputer in the entire world. The campus is still undergoing some development but after that it's going to be legit!!

The campus life at IITJ is amazing. It is rightly described as the "pearl in the desert”. Throughout the year there are Fests going on related to different domains such as dance, music, tech, stand ups, cultural activities etc.The peer group here is highly motivated and willing to learn new things.

So just go for it!!
