At first, when I was allotted this college I didn't feel very good to be honest. I was just glad that I got into an IIT. After coming to Jodhpur, I realised that not only the college campus but the city was great too. Most important of all is that the hostels were clean and the mess food was good. These two points I don't think you'll find in most of the colleges. The sports Complex is pretty well developed. I think that IIT Jodhpur is definitely going to be the dream college for many students as they get aware about the facilities here.

Most of you think that nothing is taught in college, you have to learn everything by yourself. Well, I don't know about other colleges but in IIT Jodhpur every professor takes the responsibility to teach efficiently and make sure that everyone is getting what is being taught. Also they have a great credit system allows us to participate in other extracurricular activities as well.

There is a quote that to become an expert you have from experts. IIT Jodhpur provides you with that expertise and experience for any field that you aspire to be good in. The professors are mostly scientists or researchers who have published their own research papers so I think that it is enough to get a rough idea of what quality of education you can pursue here.

Yes, we have a placement cell which is one of the great systems of our college. Since I haven't been placed yet I can't give much review or feedback about the body but this is what I got from those who have been placed.

I have already talked about the hostels. Some more attractive features of hostels are that each room has an AC; each hostel has a vending machine, common room for yoga, exercise, etc.

The infrastructure is one of the reasons I am writing this review. The college has the gold plated supercomputer which is only one in India. Also each department is fully equipped with the required infrastructure. They are never out of any required thing so they have a very good system to check the faulty infrastructure and replace/repair them.

Overall, IIT Jodhpur campus life feels like you are on the top of the world. The crowd here is very intelligent which allows you to develop yourself in every way possible. There is a club for anything that you want to try Or learn. Even if you have zero prior knowledge about the club, you can join them and basically learn about it. Many fests are organised here which you can enjoy and have great memories. You can also host the fests at the same time which is an exceptional memory in itself. At last, I would say that in the coming days, students will not only join IIT Jodhpur because of the IIT at the front but also due to the 'Jodhpur ' rising rapidly from behind.
