My Journey in GITAM School of Business, Visakhapatnam

Overall Rating
I choose GITAM because it has a very good faculty and games facility. The food and beach view campus is very good, The course I have taken is BBA because in my locality, GITAM University has the best BBA facility and I am interested in business side too.
 

Academics Rating
The eligibility criteria for my course are 50 % in class 12th and for other courses, 60% in class 12th is enough. The admission process of this University is, we have to write an exam for the course we are interested in. We have three phases in exams and BBA has an interview round as well.
The fee of our course is 2.5 LPA and per sem, it is 1.3 LPA. We have two sem in 1 year. The registration fee for applying for this course is Rs. 1,200 and scholarships are available for this course.
 

Faculty Rating
GITAM has one of the best faculties I have seen and the teaching skills are very good. The method of teaching includes PPTs and group discussions. The problem solving ability is great and the faculty are try to be very help full to each student and the teacher student ratio in 30:40 and the group discussions are very useful to us and the bonding with the faculty is too good.
 

Placement Rating
The placements at GITAM are very good as in this university; companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro have recruited students from here.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is good the food quality is the best. Girls and boys have separate hostels, and the timings are strict.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the campus is the best. It is a beach side campus and canteen facility is also good. There is a sports ground too, which is helpful for the students and the labs and seminar halls are well maintained. The library is the best place to read in the campus, medical help is there for student in need. The transport facility is also there in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
I had the best campus life here. There are overall 5,000 to 15,000 students only in B.Tech and BBA. There are many clubs in the University and many of them conduct fests there. The clubs have many activities. The fests conducted by students and the college management are the best for the students to enjoy. There are many Sports meets also conducted.
