My overall experience here is awesome. Compared to other second generation IITs it has better infrastructure and faculty-student bonding. Here we get single occupancy fully air-conditioned rooms from first year onwards, which brings you more effectiveness and productivity. Fests make your college life fun. Firstly, I choose this college because it is in my home state. The overall environment of my college is very good and overwhelming. The academics, placements, sports etc. all are very good, and opportunities are there to take your career to new heights. Don’t think IIT Jodhpur is not worthy as good as IIT Indore, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Dhanbad. Yes it is not as good as IIT Bombay or IIT Madras or IIT Delhi, But among new IIT’s it’s got good Infrastructure, Good College Life, Nice Hostels and Mess, And what every student searches for good placements as well. Overall it's a very great college with an amazing campus spread across 850 acres. The thing I like the most about IITJ is that it focuses on your overall personality development apart from academics.
