B.Tech CSE at RKGIT Ghaziabad: Fees, Admission

My experience in RKGIT Ghaziabad is great. I am in second year of B.Tech. Environment and campus life is good. Every facility is provided in this institute that is required by the student. This institute is little familiar to me that is why I chose this institute.

I am doing B.Tech course with the stream Computer Science & Engineering. As this institute is affiliated with AKTU so student can take admission through counseling by giving CUET exam or they can enroll by taking direct admission. Eligibility criteria is that student should get at least 80% in 12th to get CSE stream. Exams are held from time to time. Firstly, there is ST1 is held which is of 50 marks then ST2 is held which is also of 50 marks. Both the tests include 2 units each. Then PUT is held which is of 70 marks in which full course will come. Then after that semester exam is held. These exams help us to prepare to learn how to absorb the pressure.

Yearly fee for B.Tech CSE is Rs. 1,20,000. Scholarship is provided according to the instructions of government. Rs. 7,500 is the registration fee for exam.

Faculties of RKGIT Ghaziabad are great. Most of the faculties of this institute are very friendly in nature and very helping. Every faculty of CSE stream is highly skilled and teaches very well. Their problem solving abilities are very good. My experience is great with all the faculties of this institute. Faculty and students have very strong bonding with each other. Faculties have good experience, which they use in the problem solving of the students.

Placement cell is present in the institute. Every student submits give his/her resume in the placement cell and can give interview to the companies. Many companies visited to the institute like Tech Mahindra, TCS, HCL, Commvault, PayTm, Infosys, etc. Average package is 5 LPA and highest is 36 LPA that was offered by Commvault.

Hostels are provided by RKGIT Ghaziabad. Boys and girls have their separate hostels. Each hostel has 200 rooms in which about 3000 students can reside. Mess food is not up to the mark and can be improved to much extent. Students have to pay Rs. 50,000 advance to book their particular room in the hostel. Total fee for non-AC room is Rs. 82,000 and for AC room is Rs. 94,000. My hostel life is going great.

Infrastructure of the campus is great. All the streams have their separate buildings. Campus has temple, library, canteen, coffee shop, hostels, football ground, basketball ground, indoor stadium, and admission cell in it. Institute also has one dispensary for any medical emergency. My favorite place is canteen in the campus. Each building has well equipped laboratories for every type of experiments. This helps every student to do experiments and have knowledge too.

My campus life is very great I will say. I have found great friends with same vibe. Institute’s crowd is great. Locality matters a lot. Many clubs are made for each stream, which organizes events from time to time according to their streams. I am not the part of any club in the institute. Extracurricular activities are also organized on the timely basis, which helps students in their physical and mental aspects. Fest is organized once in the year in which DJ night is held which is very enthusiastic. My experience about the campus life of the institute is great.
