LPU, Jalandhar: A Place Full of Opportunities

Overall Rating
LPU, Jalandhar offers quality education and modern facilities to students and staff members. It also offers placement facilities. I chose LPU, Jalandhar because of its diverse background and experienced teachers. It provides 100% placement to each departments. But it is not compulsory that you will get a known or high paying company. Also, for placement classes you have to pay around Rs. 10,000 - Rs. 20,000. This amount changes every year.
 

Academics Rating
Graphics is divided into two parts Applied graphics and Ui / Ux. If you are choosing Applied graphics they'll be teaching you about some software like 3ds Max, etc. But as the trend 3ds Max is not in demand today. Software’s like Blender, Zbrush aren't taught in Applied graphics. In UI/Ux, Figma and Adobe XD is the main software.
Fees structure at LPU, Jalandhar is increasing every year. Also, they are providing scholarship so no worries.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties at LPU, Jalandhar are good in behavior, they are caring in nature. Sometimes some foreigners and south Indians face problem to communicate due to language barrier. Teachers do try teaching everything in English but they are not that fluent. Most of the teachers behave like a family with the students.
 

Placement Rating
LPU, Jalandhar offers 100% placements to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
The fee of the hostels is on a higher side. The rooms are quite small. Mess facility is also available in the hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Each course has their own department with beautiful infrastructure. Each campus has Library and food canteen. they also have stationary shops and printing shops. It makes it easier for students to buy required things. Each department has their own computer lab. These Labs are so clean. There are two auditoriums; one is main where every big occasion is celebrated whereas the other one is mostly for some small conferences, workshops, freshers’ party, some competitions, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is so enjoyable and memorable to each student. For me campus life is memorable, I have enjoyed a lot and I will be enjoying further too. There are plenty of other extracurricular activities like dancing, singing, sports, literary, poem speaking, etc. There are different clubs to engage students like Literary Club, Department of Youth Club, etc. I was a part of DYC (Department of Youth Club).

    To be honest this college was not my first choice I attempted IPMAT exam for admission in IIM Indore but couldn't crack it. So I went through lot of websites on internet and came across LPU. They were providing this course under 15 lakhs whereas other colleges like Nirma had fees up to 30 lakhs. When I came to University I was amazed to see it's beautiful campus, large and surrounded by gardens and trees. People from all over India are there in LPU and there is no ragging.     LPU offers you an average university experience. The curriculum is good. The infrastructure is nice. Classes are comfortable. But it lacks in campus life. There are less number of class tours, industrial visits, or picnics. The factor that made me choose or opt for LPU Jalandhar is the it provides at exposure all India level.     The overall experience that I observed here is a good facility and the advanced technology used. The largest campus with good infrastructure and good environment and I found it better than others because of the placement records. In comparison to other states University it always is a top one.
