KIIT The University of Excellence

Overall Rating
KIIT University is founded by Dr. Achyut Samant. I choose this university because all necessary facility are available here like placement, personal growth, sports, clubs, hostel, banking, etc. This university is in top 5 in Odisha. One thing is that the institute structure is very good and management is also good.
 

Academics Rating
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology is also having entrance exam to take admission. 2 forms are available in institute official website. You can take admission through JEE main and OJEE exam for all courses all types of entrance is there. I completed B.Tech here in this year 2022. The course fees is 3,50,000 for 1st year.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very good. They give extra time to students. Every day before class start they ask question what they have taught in previous class. Each department the average number of faculties are 35 to 37. Our Computer Science hod is very humble. Our college management team is very well because they hired only experienced teacher. I never find a teacher whose are having below 8 to 9 years of experience.
 

Placement Rating
For final year and pre final year they provide placement opportunities, Around 500+ companies are visiting every year. They provide all kind of training related placement. I got job In Yugabyte in final year in SDE post with a package of 6LPA. For other branches they provide placement like core related, If you want to get into IT jobs they will really help you.
 

Hostel Rating
KIIT University hostels provide all kind of rooms like 2 sharing Ac rooms, 3 sharing ac and non ac rooms, premium rooms, food is average. There are so many pg and hostel is available near KIIT square and KIIT road. You can find all type of food outside the university. The hostel fees is affordable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
KIIT University is having amazing infrastructure. All the class rooms are air conditioning and some class rooms are like smart labs. In library there were 100000 plus books are available. Student counseling department, guest room, canteen, cafeteria, and sports like indoor and outdoor stadium is there. There is a big cricket playground where national level cricket matches are done.
 

Campus Rating
Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology campus is stand among top university of India. The best of the institute is its campus environment. The management team manages this university very well. The curriculum is accurate. They only teach us what we need, not unnecessary things. There is a sport complex which is available for all students. There are all type of clubs like green club for tree plantation, sports club; cultural club, hackathon, etc. are available. I proud to being a "KIITIAN".

    I had already decided to opt for a private engineering college and KIIT was the most superior option because of its proximity from my house, its placement cell, and overall campus life. Faculty is experienced, student exposure is also quite good and the general crowd is better than that of other places. Hostels are clean, however pretty strict.     KIIT is one of the best institutes in the whole eastern India. The biggest thing that made me to choose this particular institute is its academic, sports, and extracurricular activities. KIIT is equipped with great and highly qualified faculty. The hostel facilities are given as per the students needs.     I joined this college in 2023 as everyone is trying to get into any NIT/IIT, but it is not everyone's cup of tea. I also did not able to score well in the joint entrance examination. I joined this college because firstly it was very near my hometown and my elder brother suggested me to join this college as he is also passed out from here only.... Read Full Review
