College Life of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College

Overall Rating
The overall experience is good in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. This is my 3rd year and everything is okay. all things are going smoothly in the college. The only factor that is why I chose this college is that faculty members are very good. They are good in their respective fields their teaching techniques are very nice.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen BA program in History and Geography combined which can be helpful for my entire life because this course is very helpful for our academic as well as the students, which are preparing for UPSC. The eligibility criteria are simple you have to pass your 12th exam and you have to secure good marks in your CUET UG exam. After that you have to fill college admission form and according to vacancy you got your seat after verification. The exams are going according to semester wise but tests are generally taken before exams.
The annual fee is around Rs. 14,000. In this everything is included the only extra fee is charged for semester exams fee which is generally around Rs. 1,200 to Rs. 1,300. There are no special discounts but fee varies according to your course. Yes, scholarship is provided to economically weaker students after verification and personal interview.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very good in all courses. they are very expert in their field. Their teachings method is also very good. They use whiteboard as well as smart board sometimes group discussion is also conducted. The problem solving abilities is also very good in the teachers. There are sufficient teachers for teaching us the ratio is normal like 1:4 The faculty is very polite and helpful they are always there for our problems.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, placement cell society is present in my college. They are always working for student’s benefits like they conducted seminars and webinar for students. Many companies came in my college like BIG Four, Indigo, Tech Mahindra, etc. The average package is around 5-7lakhs given to students.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel in my college. We have to manage own things like PGs and flats.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic structure is very good in my college. Locality is very safe for students. The classroom size is around 70 to 80 students can sit easily. Yes, library and sports, medical facilities provided to us. The security in my college is very tight. there are no outsiders allowed to inter in the college. The favorite place in college is in front of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Statue because there are sitting spaces.
 

Campus Rating
The overall experience is nice in this campus because it is safe for girls because there is no grouping allowed in the college because principal is very strict. The crowd is nice. There are many clubs like Photography, music, dancing, drama, fashion, etc. There are only cultural fests organized in the college. My experience in the college is good, as I had imagined.

    Overall experience of this DU’s south campus based college is good. It is one of the best average colleges to choose from. Others should go to this college for the excellent academics, faculty and exposure environment to a practical world. It has one of the great education and extra curriculum activities relevant to sports, finance, and business.     The college is good. Infrastructure is above average. Construction is going on in majority portion of the college. Faculty is well trained and experienced.     Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College is now one the best colleges of Delhi University, it is located in South Delhi. It is an extension to the Bhagat Singh Morning College but is a separate college sharing same campus area.
