My Experience At Delhi Technical Campus

Overall Rating
Overall experience at Delhi Technical Campus is good as it is at a growing stage. I got this Institute via counseling. In Delhi, there are two types of counseling, one is JAC DELHI and other is GGSIPU. If you have a good rank then you can participate in these counseling. According to your preference you will get the Institute. I got this Institute according to my preference.
 

Academics Rating
Currently I am pursuing B.Tech CSE from Delhi Technical Campus. The eligibility criteria to get into this Institute is that you have to appear for JEE main and you must have scored minimum of 60% marks in PCM in your 12th class. Then you have to sit for GGSIPU counseling rounds and you have to do your choice fillings and according to your preference you will get a Institute. Then you can deposit the counseling fee, come for document verification and that’s it. Talking about timing of exams or exam pattern in Institute, you have to give 2 mid semester and one end semester exam.
In terms of B.Tech CSE Course the total tuition fees at Delhi Technical Campus is Rs. 1,56,100 rupees per year. At the time of registration you have to pay Rs. 90,000, and rest of the fees you can pay in installments. There is no such scholarship available from the Institute’s side but yes they update about any other scholarship scheme if available. There is no special discount on fee provided to specific category students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties in Delhi Technical Campus are known for their engaging teaching methods. They provide proper notes and are really approachable. They are really passionate about their subjects and are willing to teach you properly. They are well- experienced in their field of knowledge. But the only problem is the number of faculties. There are really less faculty members and we need more professors to be honest. All the teachers are Ph.D holders. Their problem solving abilities is good.
 

Placement Rating
Generally, as I have seen seniors here they generally prefer off campus placements. You also need to try on your own for placements. Although the Institute is really improving in terms of placements. Not very big companies visit out Institute so students generally prepare on their own but the record is not that bad. From 3rd year onwards on campus internships are available. The average package offered by this Institute is 6-7 lakh per annum. Some renowned companies that visit the Institute for recruitment is IBM, Fractal, Wipro, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Accommodation facility is provided at Delhi Technical Campus. Triple bed, non AC room’s price is Rs. 1,00,000 per year and for Double bed AC room the charge is Rs. 1,20,000 per annum. For single seater AC room the price is Rs. 1,50,000 per year. I personally prefer hostel for safety reasons. The mess food is really good here. The quality of food is also good. The hostel rooms are provided with a bed, wardrobe, study table and attached bathrooms in each and every room. Rooms are really good here. For students who have taken campus hostel, girls have to be inside the hostel before 7 pm and boys have to be inside before 10 pm.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is too small here; it is merely spread in 5 acres. There are 4 blocks in our Institute A, B, C and D. Academic facilities like library, well maintained air conditioned classrooms are there, well equipped labs and gym is here, medical, sports facilities are also provided. Canteen food is mediocre while mess food is really nice. There is also a seminar hall, and Da Vinci Auditorium. In terms of security Institute is really good.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is compact. The crowd in Delhi Technical Campus is okay. There are so many clubs that are active. This involves CESTA, FOSS and ACM (these clubs are focusing on technical aspects.). Some cultural societies are like AMEYA (dance), AWAAZ (for poetry), etc. Sports societies are also an option. The Institute facilitates the students with various games facilities like football ground, basketball courts, badminton courts, open gyms, etc. 'Anugoonj' is the famous fest that is organized in the month of march in the main campus of GGSIPU.

    My overall experience of Delhi Technical Campus is average. The factors that made me choose this Institute because it was affiliated by IPU. IPU curriculum is well designed and well maintained. It provides placement to the affiliated colleges too. Diversity here is great. Different people are here from different cultures. Coding culture is now introduced in the college.     I would recommend other students to join this college only because of the knowledge it provides to all the students which helps develop their inner knowledge and boost their self-confidence. Moreover, excellent events are also conducted like be they curricular, technical or any other and there are many societies for conducting events like Ameya - The Dance Society, Aavansh - The Drama Society, etc. The college fest is also a good fest which is conducted every year in this campus.     My four year journey was average. The curriculum of our Institute was just like any other engineering Institutes. In terms of fests / events organized and placement the Institute is average. Off-campus placements are offered.
