RKGIT Ghaziabad's Placement, Packages and Opportunities

The overall experience is average but the good part is that you will get an average or you can say decent package by the end of your 4th year that may vary depending upon the competition and your skills that matters the most. This institute has teachers, who are expert in teaching, and their experience may help to strengthen your weaker areas. The institute is situated in a decent locality of Ghaziabad city. The minimum students in a class every year of every branch consisted of 60 students maximum.

I got 75% in my 12th board exams but had never demoralized myself that is why I took admission into this institute that taught me many useful things about life and survival away from home. The admission process is very easy you just have to approach the institute and do the paperwork depending upon your 12th grades you are given the branch. Minimum 50% in PCM is required to take admission into this institute. Exams are held thrice in a semester that is sessional tests and a pre university test. The sessional test and pre university test consisted of 50 and 70 marks respectively. The academics are important but managing academics with a decent CGPA of 7.5 with respect to your skill development is the main challenging part of your graduation life.

For 1st year, the fee is Rs. 1,35,000, Rs. 1,20,000 in 2nd year, Rs. 1,20,000 in 3rd year, and Rs. 1,20,000 for 4th year. Total hostel fee is Rs. 81,000 (including Rs. 2,000 security money). Scholarships and financial aids are given to the students who are eligible and are categorized in different specific categories like Fee Waiver and quota reservations.

It totally on your fate which type of faculty you get whether it is good or bad. Faculties are good in my case and supportive too. Their experience and teaching skill set led me to strengthen my weaker areas and score well in my end semester exams. The classes have smart board for every year and have separate block for every branches. The teachers are very good in making bond with the students here.

Placements are well organized here in a separate hall namely ‘Corporate Resource Centre’ where the students take part in the placement drive. Maximum students get placed by the end of their final year. The highest package offered by the companies is 34 LPA to a student whose skills are heavily impressing and has no lacking in the coding. I also aim to get a good placement by the end of my final year right now I am improving my skill set daily so that it will not create any backlogs for me in future.

RKGIT Ghaziabad has very great arrangements for hostlers but it lacks somewhere in the food quality. There are a total of 7 hostels in the institute from which 2 are of 1st year boys, 1 is for girls, and 4 are for senior boys respectively. In first year, there are 3 students in one room and from second year onwards, you have to move to senior hostel in which you only have one person as a roommate. Hygiene is followed in the mess. Strict timings are also followed to avoid students being roaming outside the campus you have to daily sign in the attendance register inside the hostel before going to eat food. Hostel fees are similar in first year hostel and senior hostels that is Rs. 81,000 but a difference of Rs. 13,000 is added if you opt an AC room, which makes it a total of Rs. 94,000. Only senior hostel has AC.

RKGIT Ghaziabad is spread in a large area of 28 acres and has a very green environment inside the campus. We have a library for night reading, which is opened for 24 hours for all the students. The best part about this institute is that if you are a day scholar you are allowed to stay in the campus till 10:00 PM for using libraries but you have to take permission from the Dean Student Welfare who is also a good person and has a very supportive nature for the students who are willing to study with great aim.

If you are a hostler and want to enjoy the campus life without any restrictions, which you faced while staying at your homes, then this campus is amazing. You can enjoy with your friends in canteen and go to your friend’s room midnight and can also room inside the campus without any restrictions. RKGIT Ghaziabad has many clubs focusing towards the engagement of a student in the extracurricular activities. Events are held to embrace students and make them joy with a smile on their faces. Freshers are organized in the institute when you will enter the institute by your seniors to welcome you and after the spring hits the Fests are held to make student’s mood light and give students a chance to enjoy rather than being focused towards academics burden.
