Good College for B.Tech

Overall Rating
I am a student of B Tech second semester, Talking about the environment of college it is pretty good. We have quality faculties here. They all are very serious and dedicated towards their subjects. The management is pretty much active as compared to other colleges. This college is not only about academics, but we can join other extra curriculum activities like dancing, music, acting, etc. Hostel is in very good condition.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering for becoming a successful Software Engineer. You have to appear in JEE Main examination and in 12th class and have to score 55% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Admission process of JIMS college is very easy. You just have to keep up with official website of IPU University. Exams are conducted twice that are Mid Terms and Final Exams.
The fee for 1st year is Rs. 1,48,000, for 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year the fee is Rs. 1,38,000. There is no discounts provided in terms of fee.
 

Faculty Rating
We have six subjects in our course (B.Tech CSE). Every faculty member is experienced and is very well educated about their respective subjects. They teach subjects very passionately in such way that you will never get bored and fed up of subject. Many of the faculties are Ph.D holder and have experience of over 20 years. Methods used in class are mainly depended on the topic. Every possible method is used to make the topic easy to understand.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are different buildings for all the Courses. Campus is very big in size. The campus is spread in approximately 5 Acres of land and it is situated near the metro. Class rooms are fully furnished with facilities like Air Conditioner, Projector and other facilities. There is a class to accommodate around 70 students. Library is very big and you can visit it any time before 6:00 PM. Seminar hall, Auditorium and conference halls are very big and are well furnished.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very vibrant. Talking about the crowd it has some great quality of people here. There all the students are very cooperative and friendly. There are many clubs here including Hashtag, Navras, Fit Club and Many more. There are numerous amounts of extracurricular activities like dancing, music and sports. We have many fests like Inter-JIMS, IPU Main fest and Many more. My overall experience is very good.

    I'm a 2nd year student of B.Tech department and my experience till now is quite good. The campus is well-equipped with latest infrastructure, including smart classroom, new computer labs in each floor, well-stacked library with the latest edition books and facilities for other extracurricular activities.
