Overall Rating
My overall experience with IIT, Jodhpur is pretty good. Since this is an IIT it is well expected why I have chosen it. Although the institute is in Jodhpur that has scarcity of water but our institute has good flora and fauna. Teachers here are also well qualified and more understanding and supporting. The placement here is also good. Institute infrastructure is also well developed. It has food chains inside campus for students. Our institute also works on principle of ‘Net Zero Energy and Water Waste’.
 

Academics Rating
I personally didn't know much about Civil Engineering but according to my rank in JEE this was the best I can get. Entry requirement of the institute is that you have to secure good rank in JEE Advance to get into this institute. Admission process is simple, after counselling from JOSAA I got admission letter and had to do verifications of documents and other formalities. Right now we have two exams per semester and other quizzes and test.
Year wise fees of the course I have chosen is about Rs. 3,00,000 per year at IIT, Jodhpur, including tuition fees, mess charges and hostel fees combined. Tuition fees per semester are about Rs. 1,00,000, for more you can visit institute website. Scholarships are provided to students with poor economic background, there are no tuition fees for students whose family income is less than 5 lakh.
 

Faculty Rating
One of the best privileges coming to IIT, Jodhpur is its faculty. Our faculty members are all great in their own field doing research and exploring new things along with guiding students. Most of them are graduated from IIT and has done higher studies in foreign. Methods of teaching include ppt and group discussions. The teachers even with their busy schedule are much approachable; they allot specific time slots to particular classes so that student having doubts can confront them.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, IIT, Jodhpur has placement cell. It has contribution of both teachers and students. The cell conducts mock interviews and other workshops to help student getting placed on campus. Our institute provide on campus internships and placement in 3rd and 4th year. Renowned companies like Google, Nvidia, Infosys, etc. come to hire students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, IIT, Jodhpur has hostels for resident of students. Total number of rooms per floor is about 80 and there are 3 floors per hostels including ground floor. Every hostel has gym, TV room, table tennis room and group study room. Yes boys and girls hostel are separate. Mess food is quite good enough; we are served four times a day. Hostel charges are about Rs. 19,000 per semester. As much there is no timing for hostel it’s just if you come late you have to do entry in register. My personal experience in hostel is quite satisfying.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We have student’s residential area, admin block, departments of different branches and faculty residential area in the campus of IIT, Jodhpur. Our campus is about 852 acres and about 30 km from Jodhpur city nearby NIFT Jodhpur. Classrooms have seating capacity of about 100 students and have projector and mic systems. We have dedicated building for library and have all labs in basic lab building. We have canteen for low budget as well as food chains for higher budget; we have primary health centre and ambulance 24x7 available for emergency. My personal favorite spot is knowledge tree that is like the entrance of our institute.
 

Campus Rating
My overall experience of campus life is very good as I was able to experience new things. Institute crowd is quite large containing students of B.Tech, M.Tech, and PhDs and from all years. Yes, we have many clubs almost related to every field. I am a part of Shutterbugs that is basically a photography club. We have too much events. Starting from Varchas, Ignus, Prometeo, TEDx, Sandstone as inter institute fests and Spandhan, Kridansh, etc. as inter hostels fest. I am very glad that I have chosen this institute. I have got to learn many things and meet new people.

    The overall experience of Indian Institute of Technology is very good. The factors which made me choose this Institute were the infrastructure, the academics and it is about 5 hrs away from my home.     This is the institute I was getting at my JEE rank. Honestly I want to get the higher branch than Chemical Engineering but my rank was not good enough. Our institute focuses on advanced research in areas like AI, Robotics, and Sustainable Technologies. Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur also offers bus facility if we want to purchase something from the city we can go in the buses.     Our institute is located in Jodhpur Rajasthan. In Rajasthan, there are colorful cities. Jodhpur is Blue city so the view from Kali Pahadi near IIT Jodhpur is very amazing.     My overall experience here is awesome. Compared to other second generation IITs it has better infrastructure and faculty-student bonding. Here we get single occupancy fully air-conditioned rooms from first year onwards, which brings you more effectiveness and productivity. Fests make your college life fun.
