My view on REC Banda

Overall Rating
It is a good college having great campus and infrastructure. Faculty and seniors are doing their best to improve our course in college. I am here a second year student and if I face any issue I directly go to my senior and they help us whatever they can do. The area where it is situated is good for travelling we find no issue here.
 

Academics Rating
My branch here is Information Technology, as it is government college so you have to give JEE mains examination and should have a good percentile, if your percentile is nearly 75+, you can take admission in this college and for fee waiver your percentile should be almost 88. The examination of JEE mains is a little tough.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of my college is very helpful, they are well qualified as they all are Phd holder, and they have completed their PG course with good college. They take classes of Gate examination every Saturday so that we can clear Gate exam. They all are assistant professor. Dean of my college is very helpful; they always help final Year students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes we have a placement cell which is run by faculty and seniors, not only final year students, second year and third year students are also invited when there is any session related to placement. The highest package of my college is 10 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There are eight hostels in my college in which two hostels is of girls Hostel and the remaining are Boys Hostel. Hostel facilities are good. Bed, Table, chair, almirah are available in every room. Mess food is acceptable, not much good. Water cooler is available in every hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Buildings are good from outside but not very well from inside as it is old college, building need maintenance, the structure of building is good I personally love the design of college, in every academic block there are labs, smart classes, class rooms. Drinking water facilities are available in academic block; Guards are always on their duty so there is no chances of Ragging.
 

Campus Rating
In my opinion my overall campus life is good here I don't have any problem with my college, there are 700-800 students in college some have opted hostel and some are day scholar, there is coding clubs in my college which is run by seniors, fests are organized time to time with the help of students, college supports in funding when there is any fest organized everyone have to take part if there is any fest organized.

    REC Banda has good percentage of placements approx 90% of the student got placed. Some of the students are placed in the well known companies. The overall infrastructure of the college is also good. In the hostel life student can develop the personality and can grow up for the environment of their future.... Read Full Review
