Insights on My Journey at CMR Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
My overall experience of this institute was somewhat good. The campus area is small but all facilities are given. The institute comes in top 10 engineering institutes in Bangalore. I got this institute by COMEDK exam. The cutoff was around 14k. Faculties are also very good. They are experienced and very helpful. Overall the institute is good. Placements are also decent. Average package is around 5.5 LPA. Good companies visited our campus this year.
 

Academics Rating
The course which I got at CMR Institute of Technology is Electronics and Communication. I got it by COMEDK counselling. The cutoff for ECE in this institute was 16k. We only need the allotment letter of the counselling and fill a registration form on reporting to the institute. We should submit the documents like the letter, 10th passing certificate, 12th passing certificate and some other that they will inform you before reporting. There are 3 internals each semester and then an end sem exam.
The fees for my course at CMR Institute of Technology are Rs. 1, 85,600 per year for 2021 batch. Students who took admission by KCET are paying Rs. 85,000 and through COMEDK the fee was Rs. 3, 00,000. Fee structure is given at the time of admission.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties at CMR Institute of Technology are good and experienced. Their teaching style is also good. Teachers are Ph.D holders. They use digital board, ppt, GD and videos to teach. Their problem solving ability is also good. They are easily available in the staff room. If you have any doubt, you can easily approach them. They are very kind and gentle towards students. There are many professors in each department. They are divided as assistant professors or associate professors.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 3 academic block at CMR Institute of Technology. Campus size is 6 acres. The classrooms are with digital board. There are sections divided for each year. Facilities of library, labs, seminar halls, and auditorium are also available. Canteen, sports, medical, transport, security, and many other facilities are also provided. The favorite place for each student is the student lounge area. There is no such special feature that is major attraction of the institute. Infrastructure is simple and average.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus experience is quite average. Institute crowd is so much. There are many clubs operated by students. For extracurricular activities - dance club, fashion club, singing club, etc. For co - curricular activities tech clubs are there. They are operated by students for all events. The biggest fest of this institute is cultural fest that is held in June. Other fest Is Aura, Spardha, Ethnic Day and Sephogeda tech fest. In all the fest students participate actively.

    College life at CMRIT is good. I choose CMRIT because of its placement, the programs it held. The faculty is also good. Seniors are friendly. They help us a lot. We have special labs. We have many computer labs to help students in developing coding skills and all. Our college has special certified courses class where we get certificates on completion of that particular course....
