GRIET Hyderabad: Classrooms, Canteens, and More

I chose Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology as per my EAMCET rank because I got a merit rank in EAMCET and this college is at better position as compared to other colleges. In this most of the students are placed during placements in several companies. Also this college collaborates with many companies as compared to other colleges. The Facilities are better in labs, classrooms and in sports. In sports many students are selected on state and national level.

The course chosen by me is Computer Science and Engineering at Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology. I got a merit rank and my parents said to take CSE in this college. Through EAMCET rank which was below 6k for OC, below 5k for BC, and below 10 k rank for SC and ST. 30 % of seats are provided for management, remaining 80% seats for EAMCET rankers. These are the eligibility criteria at this college. The college will conduct Mid 1 and Mid 2 before a semester. The academics prepare us well for real life challenges too.

The fee in Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology for Computer science and engineering is about Rs. 1,35,000 for each year. The semester fee is Rs. 1,400 for each semester. Tuition fee is Rs. 1,35,000 and other admin registration fee and other charges combined is Rs. 10,000.

BRK teaches Mathematics in 1st year. Simultaneously Sattimurthy is the teacher of English subject, Sunitha mam teaches programming and Aprana is lecturer of Graphics for engineering. The background of faculty members is farmer, business, real states, etc. The methods teachers teach by are projectors, PPTs, group discussion, etc. The math lectures has high ability of problem solving. The ratio of the teacher-student is about 1:40. The bond between faculty members and student is good.

Many of the students got placed in placements in this year. That is about 800 to 900 members. The placements percentage at Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology is increasing year wise and now it is 85% to 90%. The college has collaborated with many companies. The highest offered package by the company is 48 LPA. Average package is from 4 to 5 LPA.

Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology offers girls hostel but there is no hostel for boys. Hostel fee is about Rs 1,00,000. The total strength of 1st year student is about 1,200 members in that 650 students are from CSE, 300 from CSM and remaining are from other courses like civil, mechanical, EEE, etc.

There are four blocks in Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology. 1st block for AI &ML students, 2nd block for CSE students, 3rd block for total 1st year students. 4th block for EEE, EEC, Mechanical and civil engineering students. There are 11 classrooms for each floor. For one block there are 5 floors. In classrooms there are 30 benches and in each bench 4 members can be seated. The academic faculties are good. Library is clean and is peaceful without any disturbance. There are two canteens in college. Sports timings are from 4 to 5.30 pm by keeping ID cards. Also the college facilitates the students with various sports equipment.

The campus life at Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology is beautiful and joyful. There is a balance with studies. They can enjoy a lot. In cultural event the college crowd is huge and unity is maintained. There are many clubs like sports, dance, anchor, etc. The college can organize many events like Pragyna, Pulse events, etc. These are the biggest events in the college. Pulse is being conducted from past two years. Several small events are conducted for 1 month like foodies, traditional day, blood donation and some other. The students can experience joy here.
