Overall Rating
I am in my first year. Since I have joined this college my experience is great. The seniors here are very helpful. You get to study with the same people who have interest in law. People are friendly here. The committees and competitions happening in GLC provide good exposure and it’s pretty good. The reputation of GLC gives you the Liberty to intern anywhere. If you are in GLC then it is to study law.
 

Academics Rating
This is a bit debatable. Attendance is not compulsory in Government law College. Mostly the student prefer to intern so they cannot attend the classes regularly. This might create issue in their academic achievements, but as they get practical knowledge while interning and theoretical knowledge so they can balance it out. Mumbai University conducts our semester exam, there could be a delay from the University part but our college is okay managing it.
As it is a government college, amount required to study is not that much. It is very affordable and scholarships are also available.
 

Faculty Rating
There can be issue with faculty sometimes, because there are a lot of visiting faculties, and due to that the quality of trust degrades sometimes. There are permanent faculties in some subjects. As our seniors have told us, they would have more trust in permanent faculty, because that way you can tell which teacher is in which manor. The quality of teaching is mediocre. Otherwise the visiting faculty is also good.
 

Placement Rating
The placement rate is quite good. The placement committee of Government Law College maintains there efficiency. While few students appear for placement as most of them pursue litigation.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel facility in Government Law College.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure Government Law College is okay. The canteen is under construction for now. Well our library is well built and it consists of variety of books. Otherwise it's normal architecture. We have air conditioning in Library. We also have an air conditioning auditorium which is pretty good. We have girl’s common room too. The classroom doesn’t have air conditioning. There is no big campus as such as it is located in Mumbai.
 

Campus Rating
To be very honest, law is a very hectic professional course. And law students start there internship after first year of college. Students get busy in internship. We don't have a lot of time. Some are busy in competitions, work of committees and internships. Whatever college life is there it is in first year, and then there is no college life. It is a hard truth but what you can do is, to make your college life at your own.
