Better Opportunity to pursue Engineering

Overall Rating
My branch is computer science engineering and my experience is good here, very helpful seniors and faculty. We are provided with all the facilities required for the placements, internship and our training. Overall my experience is very great and if you are looking for a government college with a low percentile this is a better opportunity.
 

Academics Rating
REC Sonbhadra has three branches i.e. Computer Science and Engineering, Electronic Engineering and Electrical Engineering. If you get a good rank in JEE mains i.e. above 1.5 lakhs rank you will be able to get at least Electrical branch. As for admission all requirement is all as per the JEE mains requirement. The college has a very good coding environment which is very good for the student even if you belong to other branch then the Computer Science and Engineering.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faulty are well qualified majority has done PhD after passing out from the well known IITs and NITs. The teaching style of all the faculty member are very fascinating and very helpful. If I talk about my branch i.e. Computer Science Engineering, faculties are very knowledgeable and very helpfull. Every Saturday the extra class is organised for the gate Aspirants.
 

Placement Rating
Yes we have Training and Placement Cell in our college. The highest placement amount was 45 LPA and avg was about 5 to 6 LPA. In computer science and engineering there was nearly 100 percent placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes we do have hostel facilities. We have 3 boys and 1 girls’ hostel inside our campus. But we are not allowed to go out of hostel after the 10:00 pm due to risk issue as it is located in a rural area. In boys hostel in every room there are at most 3 student are allotted.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Nearly all the Infrastructure are completed we have two Academic blocks, one administrative block which include the required labs even we have language lab and a Computer Center. There is a volleyball court, badminton court and ground which is not ours but we used to play cricket and football there. Also we have a big library with all required books available there.
 

Campus Rating
REC Sonbhadra campus life is good but have a disadvantage of being a college in a rural area but everything else is very good. College organises the Fresher party, Engineering day and also annual fest every year. Also there are many tournament organised which include the Volleyball tournament, Cricket tournament (inter branch and RPL) and badminton tournament. There are many clubs present such as literary club, coding club etc. Many investor come to college if you have an idea you many get the investment for the Idea.

    Overall Rating
    Location of college is like a hill station. You will find great sceneries around the college. But you will not find any cinema halls, nearby. There are shopping malls and good market few kilometers from the college. Teaching is good. You can also get scholarship if you are from UP. You will get lot of free time for your studies.     The location of college is very effective. It is about 10km away from the market. Infrastructure of the college is better and the smart class rooms and the library and 24×7 wi-fi also available. The conditions of laboratory and the workshops are good. Also the faculties are very helpfull. Extera circular activities like sports, cultural activities and other games are organized....     Campus is 3Km away from main Highway and 2 km away from auto stand, You will find bus stand at a distance of 8km but there is no problem of transport in REC Sonbhadra. If you have low budget you can go for REC Sonbhadra.
