University of Lucknow: Entrance Exam and Admission Process

In my view, if you want enjoyment with your study then I'll suggest you to go for it. First of all here's faculties are well educated, all are Ph.D degree holders. They are very friendly, cooperative with students, always help students with their researches. Here you have freedom for any type of dress code. One of the best qualities of this university and the reason because of which I opted for, it is ragging free campus. Here you will not see any kind of ragging in campus or in hostel and this is the difference that I find in this university than other colleges.

I'm doing my UG in B.A (NEP). You have to give entrance exam for admission in University of Lucknow, entrance exam questions are easy to moderate level, and you will crack it if you study basic level of 10th, 11th, and 12th. For admission you have to passed 12th with minimum 60% score. If you are determined to study, here you will find best environment, supportive friends and best faculty who will guide you on your every step. In my opinion, academics make us more confidant and independent so that we can achieve our goals.

Basically B.A (NEP) course fee is Rs. 3,000 but if you are choosing self finance subjects then their fee will add in Rs. 3000. My one subject is SF that's why I'm paying Rs. 12,000 something per year. Students can apply for UP scholarship. I don't have any idea about any discount in fee. You have to pay Rs. 200 as registration fee. After entrance exam when merit list will be out you will have to pay Rs. 500 as counseling fee and then seat will be allotted to you according to your rank.

Faculty of University of Lucknow is the best. All are Ph.D degree holder. Their teaching methods are also good, they teach us on blackboard, ppt and through group discussion. Here, faculties are of friendly nature and are very cooperative. They are always available for all students. My experiences are very good, I have very good bonding with my professors, they are always ready to clear my doubts, give me helpful tips regarding studies also suggest me for participating in extracurricular activities. Overall University of Lucknow has best faculty.

If I talk about University of Lucknow infrastructure, then University of Lucknow had best infrastructure but now its building are becoming very old, it seriously needed renovation. This is very disappointing point about LU. Here one of the best things is that you will find that every department has their own library, own auditorium that are very spacious. Apart from departmental Library, LU has big library like Tagore library and also cyber Library that are well furnished. Here students have benefits to use PC in Cyber Library. You will find canteen near every department. And if we talk about facility then here free vehicles available for students. Many sports grounds are also present in the university campus. My favorite thing is of course the time I spend with my friends in Shivaji ground. Here, the environment is very friendly. But one thing is not that good here and that is security system here, anyone can enter here without any checking.

I don't have any idea about clubs as i am not a part of any. If I talk about University of Lucknow crowd then here's environment is very friendly, everyone is of friendly nature. Foreigners also come here to study. My campus life is very good, I'm very happy as LU has given me best buddies, they are very supportive. Here many events, debates and quiz competitions are organised in extracurricular activities.
