Overall Rating
I enrolled in Krishna Institute of Engineering and Technology by UPTAC counseling. I got admission in the computer science and engineering branch, bachelor of technology. The decision to opt for KIET was probably due to my JEE rank but still there were many options around this range. Engaging with the seniors and seeing the past trend of the placement made me choose this college. The seniors said chances of the college were to get better. One thing that is different in this college is its location, situated around NCR and conduction of various tech events.
 

Academics Rating
I enrolled in CSE B.Tech. Currently I am a 2nd year 3rd semester student. Until my batch, it counts in AKTU. The syllabus is AKTU oriented which follows a traditional method. The syllabus is bit old and outdated though. Someone who wants to opt for this college should be participating in UPTAC counseling. The general range for student to get enrolled is up to 3 lakh. The frequency of exams is 4 months for semester exam and exams are conducted throughout the month. The academics need to be bit parallel to latest technology in IT and follow up the trend.
The fee for one year is around Rs. 2,40,000 including tuition, non tuition and hostel fees. If we only talk about tuition fee then it is around Rs. 1,10,000. The hostel fee is around Rs. 1,10,000 and rest is the non tuition fees. The registration fee is Rs. 7,500 which is submitted directly to AKTU every year. No discount is provided for any category and any reservation. The scholarship amount is decided on this basis only. It ranges around 40k-100k for students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members in KIET group of institutions is good. Every branch you see is good. They are very supportive and conducting. The time taken to cover the syllabus is done right. Students can seek for any doubt and problem any time. Teachers use smart power point presentations as a mode of education. One class contains about 75 students. there are around 12 teachers for one semester. There is Good bonding.
 

Placement Rating
The placement trend has been bit low for the past year considering how good it has been around 2023. The downfall may be due to recession and increase in intake of students. The placement cell has changed this time which will definitely impact the college. Don't know how it will go. Companies that come are majorly mass recruiter and they hire students in bulk. For the last year the placement percentage is to be around 80 and Average is around 5 LPA. Placement is getting bit low for this session.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel costs around Rs. 1,20,000 for a year. Separate hostels are there for boys and girls that too on the basis of year. Separate year students live together. This year new hostel has been acquired by KIET for 2nd year student. The food quality is very good and hygiene is maintained. The food is provided 4 times. Though the rules are rough and non negotiable. Timings to be inside the college at night are 8pm for girls and 12 pm for boys. Personal experience has been good and warden is a bit strict.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The KIET is situated in Muradnagar. It is a bit old tradition unlike NCR region. It is spread in 18 acres of land. Though the infra of the college is good. It includes various grounds like cricket, football, gym, auditorium, 2 libraries, multiple cafes and a mandir. Sports room is also there. Favorite thing to do for me is roaming with friends in the café. The laboratory is also good. All the facilities are provided.
 

Campus Rating
The college life is a bit hectic but it’s very good. The college cultures and events are the best. The crowd here is very enthusiastic and cheerful. They are always positive and mindful. The club people are very talented and cheerful. There are 7-8 events that keep on going in a year in college. Overall the campus life is full of environment.

    The overall experience at the Institute is Good. We have good infrastructure in college and the campus is supported with full high speed Wi-Fi. Honestly, I did not secure good rank in JEE, so I am here; but after spending my 1st semester here, I am satisfied with my decision to choose KIET over other private colleges.     Overall experience at KIET Group of Institutions is very satisfactory. Services are very good. They are providing every possible facility for students and it depends on student how they will use it. Curriculum is also very good and is as per the time evolving. Due to its Curriculum it is very different from other AKTU colleges. They have all facilities for studies and games as well.     I have chosen KIET Group of Institutions due to its placements percentage and its infrastructure. My overall experience in this institute was good. Also, the fees of the institute are medium and the ROI is decent. Here, most of the Tech branch students get placed. Also, the coding culture of this institute is good.     According to my view, KIET Group of Institutions puts a lot of effort for the student's placement. From this year, the Institution got autonomous and has designed the updated curriculum as per the industry need. This year, the placement is not getting so good due to recession. The infrastructure of the Institution is decent and the classrooms are well maintained.     KIET is a good option if you are not getting admission in IIT's and NIT's. If you are searching for a Institute with low fees and good placements then for sure this Institute is for you. In the AKTU counseling this would be the best choice.
