SGT University Fees and Scholarship for Commerce & Management

My overall experience in SGT University has been great. Even though the course I have chosen does not comprise much subject wise. The professors give personal insights, extra information and share their personal experience regarding their career. The professors use amazing activities to teach concepts and help in applying them in normal. Regular faculty events happen which help in fostering teamwork qualities and everything. I chose this University as it was convenient for me to travel as it was close to my residence. This University has a welcoming energy which made me select this University. It was a great decision that I chose this University for me higher education.

The course I chose at SGT University is because it comprises of all courses related to commerce. Accounting, Economics, management, taxation, etc. and basically everything in the commerce field makes it easy and opens up a lot of choices in your career path. The entry criteria for the University is simple. They check your 10th and 12th marks and after that a small Interview round is conducted. After you clear the interview round you'll be enrolled in the University. By paying the fees you can start with your classes. The exams are conducted at the end of every semester which is of 40 marks. The internals are of 60 marks. The academics really are fruitful and in depth knowledge and problem solving skills enhancement make you ready for the real world.

The fee of my course in SGT University is Rs. 3,90,000. Semester wise the fee s\for a semester is Rs. 65,000. The security deposit of Rs. 10,000 is also there and Rs. 8,000 of uniform is also included. These are paid one time and the security deposit is returned once the course ends. If you have great performance in school then you will be given scholarship as per the criteria and policies under UGC.

The faculty members at SGT University are superb and they teach really well. They don't use conventional methods of teaching but try and apply the concepts in everyday life. The background of faculty is very strong as all the professors in the department have completed their Ph.D. They use PPTs, White boards and conduct short quizzes regularly to check whether students are understanding the taught concepts or not. The faculties are available for the students and they help to resolve any issues related to the subject. The teacher to student ratio is excellent as every student gets focused on by their respective faculty easily. I've bonded really well with the faculty members and the students in our faculties have really great relations with all the professors as well.

The placement cell in SGT University works extremely hard so that the bright and hardworking students get a wonderful placement opportunity in the best companies possible. Although, the University is famous for its medical studies but still the University has significantly enhanced its placement and internship opportunities. Every even semester a placement drive is held where great companies come and students apply for placement. Companies like Deloitte, Parle G, Yakult, etc. have hired students from this University. The package lies in between 3-5 Lakh. I haven't got placed yet but I am looking forward to the placement opportunities this year.

The SGT University does provide residential facilities. I don't use them though so I cannot provide detailed information regarding it.

The academic block, the faculty and commerce and management is excellent. It comprises of classrooms which are proper for every course and has labs and other facility room as per requirement for the respected course. AV aids are available and capacity for around 50 students is present in each classroom. All the Academic Facilities such as Library, Labs, Seminar Halls, etc. are properly made and maintained by the University staff. There are several Cafes and a proper medical block which are for the students as and when in need. My favorite place of the campus would be the parks and it is so big and best place to relax and chill with your group of friends.

The overall Campus life at SGT University is amazing. The students engage with each other and exchange point of view respectfully. Everyone participates in activities and the atmosphere is enlightening. The crowd of the University is diverse and rich heritage of each culture or background is widely accepted and respected. There are clubs and recreational societies present in the University and students actively participate in it. Engagement activities are performed regularly keeping the students sharp and building on holistic development. The cultural fests organized by the University are worth every second that you invest. The food, events and collaborations are explicitly visible making the fests huge success. My personal experience throughout my bachelor degree was fabulous.
