Great Girls University Experience at IGDTUW

Overall Rating
My experience at IGDTUW has been great to be honest. At first, I thought it is a girl’s University and will not be a good experience but after coming to my University, my opinion has changed and I love this University as the environment here is very supportive in nature. They hype up each other. I have chosen this University as it has a really good placement stats.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) because it is the top branch in our University. It has a very good placement stats and top companies hire students from this branch. University takes admissions from JEE, CUET, GATE etc. Exams are organized after every 2 months and there are two exams in every semester excluding practical. If you attend regular classes exams won’t feel very difficult. I have has a very good experience here.
The fee of course is Rs. 1,47,000 for the first year. The fee increases every year. The maximum fees is Rs 6,00,000.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women are very good and supportive. They are very experienced. Smart TV’s are installed in the campus for betterment of students and improvising learning experience. They have experience of more than 15 years and some have done Ph.D and M.Tech form this University only. They are very knowledgeable. They try to give every possible knowledge and they want us to succeed in every field. They encourage and guide us to achieve better in life in order to make them proud.
 

Placement Rating
The placements of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women are phenomenal and many big companies like Google, Microsoft and Uber visit the University for offering internships. Also big companies as mentioned come and also the stipend is also very good.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women provides residential space and the hostel fee is about Rs. 1,47,000 for 1 year including mess fees, etc. Mess food is average and they are strict about timings as it is a girl’s University.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women infrastructure is average. Some part of the University is equipped with AC while some are not. Canteen and Nescafe is there in the University. Campus is quite small. It has medical room, basketball court, badminton court, and buildings for different branches. My favorite thing is the University ground which has access to sunlight and which makes it easier to work and let us play.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus is good. There are many clubs and societies. I am in dance society that is hypnotics and ROTARACT Club which is for care and share. There are two fests that occur every year, one is a Diwali fest named 'Jhilmil' and the other is the annual fest, 'Taarangana'. Campus life is very good and worth living. I will surely recommend you to join University.

    Overall Rating
    The overall experience is good. IGDTUW provides a variety of courses such as B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Plan, BBA, MBA, etc. The average and highest packages are increasing every year. 1.2 CPA CTC was the highest international package the previous year. I feel the college will be introduced higher packages if the student is bona fide, skilled and has good communication skills.     IGDTUW is famous for its placement records in the past years. Companies come here specially to recruit women. So anyone should come here just because of the placement opportunities offered, if eligible. Another reason is that the college is a government college, so the faculty, education and everything else is completely reliable and trust worthy.
