Parala Maharaja Engineering College B.Tech Review By Sritam Pradhan

Parala Maharaja Engineering College is government college. College is under BPUT University which is a state university. This college is situated in Berhampur which is Silk City of Odisha. This college atmosphere is very good because of its infrastructure and is curricular activities. I prefer this college because I wanted to join a government engineering institute because I know the government institutes are very good at their own way and it is one of the best engineering college of Odisha.

I have completed B.Tech in electrical engineering in the year 2021. I joined this institute by through OJEE entrance exam. My first priority and my dream are to join and big institute for pursuing my M.Tech career. If you are also joining this institute then you have to clear OJEE entrance and JEE main with good rank. One of my friend suggested that this college is there more than an university because they teach practicals very well. The college offers only B.Tech and M.Tech engineering courses.

Our college is having best faculty in ever. Most of the faculties are qualified from institutes like IIT Kharagpur, IIT Warangal, VTU (Karnataka), JNTU (Hyderabad), VSSUT Burla. The college is having experienced teacher as well as contract teacher. The lab assistants are also very good. From my branch there are 7-8 teacher are present. One of them Mr. Debasish Rath, Mr. Pravat Mohanty is one of best teaching faculties.

Parala Maharaja Engineering College placement cell is very aware about industry requirements. You don’t have to worry about placement because they provide such kind of training which help you to get placed at big tech companies. Every year for final year they conduct PPT class, They conduct Technical seminar, For fresher they conduct grooming classes, They provide placement for everyone. Some of our students get placed at MNC's.

Parala Maharaja Engineering College hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. There are 3 hostel is present in our campus 2 is for boys and one is for girls they provide good quality of food every special occasion the profile occasionally food they provide both veg and non veg. For boys there are almost 550 seats are available and for girls 200 seats are available all rooms are 3 to 4 sharing rooms, they provide 24/7 electricity, this campus is totally Wi-Fi campus including hostel. For every student they provide special godrej safe. For security reason they installed CCTV camera as well as security guard and hostel warden for hostel, they provide medical facility for emergency case.

The college is having academic block workshop blog; this college is known for its good infrastructure buildings. The class rooms are very clean the labs are very clean and for all branches they are having smart lab rooms, 1 central library is present there. The college is also having world class type auditorium room, staff rest room, guest rest room. The college is having big playgrounds, garden.

Parala Maharaja Engineering College campus life is awesome as it is having clubs like Music club, Gym club, For Computer Science student there is Robotic club, Sports and Athletics society is present here. You can Participate in NCC and NSS also. The college is having own transportation facilities, around 30 bushes are run in every route. The college is having canteen facilities where 500 student can join at a time. Every year they conduct annual sports, Those who are joined fresher they conduct fresher's fest. At last I would like to say I feel proud to be a student of this institute.
