Faculty Excellence at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is overall mediocre. It is surrounded by greeney and it has good scenery the cluoud, the mountains around make it so pretty. During winters you will have one of the best scenes and the clouds can be seen very close to us. I just love that view. This Institute is somewhat spiritual and it depends on you to choose your path. If you get some crazy friends then you can survive in any place and I have got them and I think that's why I feel so easy to live in this Institute.

I have chosen computer science engineering integrated with artificial intelligence (CSE-AI) at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. I chose this course because I always wanted to do something related to computer science. You have to write Amrita entrance exam AEEE and get good rank to get into this course. This entrance exam is conducted twice in an year. The months when it is organized are January and in April. This Institute helps you gain so much confidence and face real life. At the end of four years you will be able to face the real world.

Now I will explain you about the fee structure for our department. There are four slabs. First slab is around two lakh then second slab is around three lakh, then third slab is around five lakh and then last one is the non scholarship slab which is around six lakh. Yes, there are special discounts for parents with less salary and SC/ST people.

The faculty members at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham are very friendly and they help you in all the ways on the academics part. Many teachers have studied here and they continue working here. The teachers use PPT’s on smart board and they immediately clear any doubts that you have. The faculties are very talented. They can solve any type of problem. I myself have asked doubts. The teachers are easily approachable as they aren't that strict or rude.

There are four academic blocks in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham’s campus and so many labs. In front of each academic block there is a spiritual statue. The campus is spread in around 400 acres and the locality is village called Ettimadai. There is a huge library in our campus and there are three auditoriums. There are three canteens as well named, IT, MBA and main canteen. The food available is pretty decent and in MBA canteen there is only veg. food.

I would rate the overall campus life at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham as below average because there are less cultural events and then there are less extracurricular activities. You need apply for a pass before twenty four hours to go out of the campus which is rule I. There happens one major fest called Anokha and there are events during festivals that are it. There are clubs for easy extracurricular activities and I have seen only music clubs performing and I don't have knowledge about other clubs.
