Achieve Success at IIIT Sri City: A Student's Perspective

Overall Rating
The overall experience in IIIT Sri City is so good. The placements and opportunities to learn are abundant. The faculty is good. I got seat in other renowned institute but I prefer this institute to this because of placements and package. There are many fests conducted in the institute. The labs are equipped with modern tools and devices. The total strength of the institute is less than 2000. Nightlife is good. There are many places to visit nearby.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Electronic & Communication Engineering because it offers more opportunities in future. Students have to attempt JEE Main, qualify that exam, and apply for JoSAA or CSAB counseling for admissions. The rank should be in the cutoff range to join the institute. There will be two mid sem exams and one end sem exam in first semester and there will one mid sem exam and one end sem exam from second semester onwards. It will consider relative grading so students should score well. There will be 100 students in a classroom. The lab is equipped with modern equipment.
Every course has same fee. For 1st year, academic fee is Rs. 3,30,000. Every year, the fee increases by Rs. 10,000.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties for our courses have graduated from top IITs and NITs. They also have PhDs in their respective subjects. All of the faculties have great knowledge and experience. They interact with students in classroom while teaching. They will clarify every student’s doubts individually.
 

Placement Rating
Most of the students are getting placements during the campus drive. The average package according to recent statistics is 13 LPA. There are students who are doing internship in 3rd year.
Companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Samsung have visited institute to take interviews and recruit students. The highest package of our institute is 1.20 CPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels in IIIT Sri City are good. There will be 125 rooms in each hostel block. Each room can accommodate 3 members. The boy’s hostel and girl’s hostel are separate. The girl’s hostel is out of the campus. The institute provides bus facility for girls to travel back and forth from hostel to institute 24/7. The hostel fee is Rs. 80,000 including mess charges. There are not many rules to restrict student’s freedom. There is canteen in every hostel block.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus academic block structure is so good and decent. Classrooms are decent with centralized AC and each room that are capable to hold upto 120 students. There is one cafeteria at the academic block. There is super market nearby to get your daily essentials. There is butterfly park in our institute that is beautiful spot to spend time. The complete infrastructure of the institute is good.
 

Campus Rating
There are many clubs in which students can learn many new things. These are dance, sports, and cultural clubs. There will one event named ‘Utkrishta’ conducted in November for 9 days in the institute. Major event in IIIT Sri City is ‘Abhisarga’ conducted in the month of March. There will be inter-institute competitions conducted among the students of IIITs and IITs. Students go in these competitions along with club members to participate and gain some experience.

    IIIT Sri City, located near Chennai, is a developing institute known for its strong placement record and good faculty. It has a vibrant coding culture and hosts hackathons and coding competitions. The institute offers good classroom infrastructure but falls short in other areas.     It is very nice college. Here we have got very supportive faculty. Nice placement package has been come to this college. And it is in good environmental location.     I have chosen this college because this college has good placements and also the curriculum followed by this college is very good. The faculty here is good. The entire faculty here has much experienced in their respective courses. And coming to my overall experience, this college is good for placements.
