Galgotias Institute Faculty Experience and Teaching Methods

My overall experience at Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology is quite good as it has nice infrastructure even though the area is small about 20 acres but still the facilities are good. It has a very big playing ground. There are nice fests and they have a yearly fest known as Unifest. They invited Javed Ali in Unifest 2024. The location of the college is way too nice and the nearest metro station is KP 2 which is about 50 meters away from the college. There is a mall in front of the college which will start functioning in no time.

I am pursuing B.Tech from Computer science and I'm in 2nd year right now. Overall academics are okay but they will pressurize you in the beginning of the college about assignments, practicals, attendance and exams. It is not tough to maintain everything just try to give the assignments on time, keep your practical files up to date that's it. As for the attendance they will tell you that the criteria is to maintain 75% but they let everyone sit in the end semester exams even with very low attendance. Low attendance may affect your internal marks and internals play a very important role in maintaining good CGPA so try to maintain your attendance above 60%.

The fee of my course in Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology is Rs.1,15,000 per annum. It's just the tuition fee other than that you have to give Rs. 7,500 per year as exam fee for both semesters.

All the teachers at Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology have a great experience of about 8+ years and even many of them have 15+ years of experience. They have also done their Ph.D in specific field or subject. There method of teaching is very good and you can learn easily. If you pay attention in the class you won’t need to spend much time on preparation. If you have any kind of doubt you can ask the respective teachers in their free time. My overall experience with teachers is good as they are very friendly and helpful.

Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology campus is spread in about 20 acres of land. The Campus has 6 blocks for respective course and branches. We also have 2-3 libraries with proper materials. The labs have latest computer systems and are very clean. The auditorium is present in D block and it is very spacious. The canteen has great café. There is a huge ground for sports, a basketball court, a badminton court, cricket pitch, football court, gym, etc. My favorite thing about college is it's fests.

My overall campus experience at Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology is good. Usually there is not much crowd in the college but at the time of exams or fest, there is too much crowd. There are many clubs around 16-17 in the college for extracurricular activities such as singing, dancing, drawing, gaming, etc. There is an annual sports fest organized by our college. As for fests there is a fresher’s party every year. Other than that we have an annual fest named Unifest and there are many other fests too as per the time of festivals like Dandiya Night, Dussehra, etc.
