NIT Surat Choice for B.Tech in Electronics and VLSI Engineering

Sardar Vallabhai National Institute of Technology is an Institute of national importance which reflects on the facilities provided by the Institute. The overall experience of me in this Institute is really great. I really felt this was worthy place to live after someone put so much hard work on an exam like JEE Main. I need to put NIT Surat (SVNIT) at top in my preference list because of my brother who earlier studied in NIT Surat got placed into NVIDIA, The most valued company in the world. This motivated me a lot to get into SVNIT and crack a big thing in my life. This Institute has many co-curricular activities involved in it which make every student involve in real life instances.

The course I chose to pursue my further education is B.Tech is electronics and VLSI engineering. The entry for this Institute is done by qualifying test called JEE Main. Admission process is so simple we just need to put this Institute in the preference list of JOSAA and CSAB counseling and if you are eligible you will be getting admission letter and easily get admission. Frequency of exams in my course is 2 times a month.

Fee structure of the SVNIT is really very much affordable for middle class family even for lower class people. It can be deducted if the annual income is less than Rs. 1,00,000.

Faculty members at the SVNIT are really very qualified and very much friendly. Backgrounds of every professor at SVNIT are high. They use PPT’s on smart board to educate the students. The problem solving abilities are being nurtured to the students by the professors. The student to teacher ratio at SVNIT is approximately 15:1. My bonding with my faculty is really good. Thanks to the professors who educated me.

Decent placements are provided at SVNIT.

Hostel looks ok and the food is average.

Infrastructure of SVNIT is really good. When I first entered into the Institute I was totally amazed by looking at the campus. I really loved every building. The beautiful infrastructure made me love this place and the Institute at the same time. The new CRC building is my favorite place when it comes to show the beauty of the infrastructure of SVNIT and the department of CSE is really good in the aspects of infrastructure.

There are many clubs in SVNIT which really nurture many minds. These are really worth participating. There are many events happening in SVNIT frequently. When I participated in them I really had so much fun and knowledge. The Institute fests are really lit. The cultural fest of SVNIT (Sparsh) is really a lifetime experience which every SVNITian should experience. The campus life at the Institute is interactive and friendly and informative too.
