My experience at GITAM Hyderabad

Overall Rating
Overall experience at GITAM School of Technology, Hyderabad is good. The infrastructure and other components made me to choose this college. The faculty is good and whole University is excellent. Faculty members are very polite with us. They teach us in a kind way where we can learn very much. They are very friendly towards us. The difference between any other college and mine is the freedom that we get.
 

Academics Rating
We need to write the entrance test and based on that we get the scholarship. The scholarship starts from 15%-100% at GITAM School of Technology. We have one mid and one semester exams, in between we have so many quizzes to pass in externals. The ratio of internal and external is 30:70. The academics prepare us to know how to face real world challenges and the competitions we need to face Outside.
The fee for first year at GITAM School of Technology is Rs. 3,64,000, and it is increased 5% every year. There is no other fee that is to be paid for college.
 

Faculty Rating
We need to choose our own faculty who we like. They teach us in politely and clear all our doubts. They guide us very patiently and teach us so many things. Faculty members here teach using PPT and sometimes uses blackboard. All the faculty members are friendly with students. They treat us like their own kids. We need to work hard to pass in semester exams.
 

Placement Rating
The placements and internships are average in GITAM School of Technology. Many major companies like Microsoft offers internship packages to merit students. The highest package placement is 65 lakh and average is Rs. 4,00,000.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, GITAM School of Technology offers residence facilities. We need to pay the fee along with the tuition fee. Mess food is average as north Indians are more and the taste is not the same as they would expect.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus and infrastructure of GITAM School of Technology is very good. The classrooms are well organized with general AC and coming to canteens cafes, they are perfect and affordable. We have sports complexes and many others to hangout in the free time in college. We need to appreciate the facilities made by the college. The favorite place is the Shivaji Auditorium which is in centre of GITAM Hyderabad. Canteens are good.
 

Campus Rating
In Campus my overall experience is good. There are total 20,000 students studying in GITAM. There are so many fests and events that are happening in college. The infrastructure is mesmerizing. We need to pay money and attend the events. We need to engage in all the events. This helps us to interact with fellow mates and learn new things from them. There are so many clubs and I’m the part of a club called Anveshana.
