Starting My Academic Journey in GITAM University

Overall Rating
GITAM University has good infrastructure, faculty, and the facilities. The freedom it gives is also very good. Overall campus, infrastructure, and all the other aspects of college are good.
 

Academics Rating
GITAM University conducts entrance test in July and the eligibility criteria is to have minimum 60% marks in class 12th boards. One can also get admission here through JEE entrance exam. The academics here are good. The presentations will help you eliminate your stage fear. Each class has one black board and projector screens for the detailed explanation of things that are hard to explain on black board. Each class has 55 students.
The course I selected is CSE (core). As I didn't meet any scholarship requirement, my fee structure is Rs. 3,64,000 per year. Fee for AIML, Data Science, and Cyber Security is also same as per the year 2024.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties in GITAM University are good. They are also well educated. method of their teaching is excellent as they prepare PPTs for every module the faculty here are very approachable and charming they explain everything in a detailed and slow manner just help us with our academics and all.
 

Placement Rating
Placements training starts from 2nd or 3rd year so that students can easily clear the job opportunities provided to them. Companies like Gemini, Amazon, and Microsoft hire students. Average package is 4 LPA and highest is 41 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
It provides hostel facilities The hostel fee is 1.5 lakh per year. Hostel gates are opened until 10 PM in the evening. Girl’s and boy’s hostels are separate. It provides a decent quality food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Books are provided in library. There are ACs in each class. It give good priority to sports. For medical emergencies, there will be an ambulance. Security guards are available at every floor and blocks. Academic experience is good as it provides everything you need in college.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus is good. You will have great experience interacting with people here. 21 clubs are here and you can join any of them as per your interest. Events are conducted for major festivals and fests are organized every month. You can make good friends.

    It's not a university to regret about, everything is just fine, academics and events. I chose GITAM University as it allows scholarship up to 100% even I got scholarship.     I had one of the best experiences in GITAM University so far in my life. This University not just relies on our education but also provides a lot of memories. I made some of the best friends ever in this University.     My experience at GITAM has been good and the faculties you get here are good. You will get everything regarding academics. One should make good use of all those.     GITAM University is well established in terms of academics as NAAC gave A++ and has good faculties that hold M.Tech and Ph.Ds and are well qualified. Their teaching approaches are also interactive and classrooms are well equipped with air conditioners and projectors.
