My experience at Miranda House College

Overall Rating
My experience at Miranda House Delhi University has been a wonderful experience. The faculty members are great and are very experienced. I always had a dream to study at Delhi University. I got an admission in Miranda House which is based in North campus, as for my course it offers labs with experienced teachers. College offers many courses, organizes workshops which give a shot to the career so I believe that others should go for this college.
 

Academics Rating
B.Sc Physics Hons. is the course that I have chosen at Miranda House College because I always had the craze about this subject and it always excited me to study physics. For physics you must have had math in 12th exams. For admission later on you need to qualify the entrance exam, CUET UG. We do have different range of exams for example internal assessments, continuous assessments, tests, projects and many more.
For this particular source we pay almost Rs. 18,000 for first year and in second year we pay almost Rs. 17,000. As per the University guidelines fee relaxation is not given to specific categories except PWD candidates.
 

Faculty Rating
Miranda House College has very experienced professor. Some are from IIT Delhi and some are foreigners. They have a lot of experience and are very friendly with the students. We do have great relationship which removes a formal barrier and helps everyone to make the concept more easy and understandable to the students. Some teachers do have specific way of teaching for example teaching from flow charts and more which makes it easier for students to understand.
 

Placement Rating
We do have a placement cell at Miranda House College which offers jobs and internship opportunities to the students. This makes it easier for them to get approached by companies or be approached by companies directly.
 

Hostel Rating
We do have a lot of facilities provided at hostel of Miranda House College. Fee is Rs. 6,800/month which is a bare minimum for a comfortable stay. We pay the fee by even and odd semesters. We are also provided evening snacks. It does follow a good hygiene.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is a very crucial. It is the Heart of Miranda. The way it is build still excites other students out of the campus. We have well maintained classrooms. There is a garden and different types of flowers is are grown there. Miranda has been a winner of flower show several times. My favorite place is canteen as being a foodie there is a good variety of food offered. We do have sports complex as well.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life at Miranda House College is really great here. We meet with different people from different states and different countries. We have seen a lot of foreigners in our college having a degree. There are a lot of societies and wide range of activities approximately 25 and above. This makes students interested in extracurricular activities. We have an annual fest organized by college named tempest, in which we do have a lot of fun and play games.

    Now, I am in Miranda House College from past 1 year. The loveliest thing about it is the green lawns shinning with lights of the lamps in the evening. The nature of everyone is really helpful here. Miranda House College gives you the exposure and opportunities to explore many things.     Miranda House is a women's college and has a very tight security for making it safe for its students. The college has a very highly educated faculty. All teachers are Ph.D from renowned institutes like IIT's and DU. College has maintained a rank 1st from last 7 years though this year it was ranked 2nd.
