Experience of Diploma Student at Parul University

Overall Rating
The overall experience at Parul University is really great. It has really big campus that offers great campus life. It has great facilities, which a student can use. The course, which I have chosen, is Diploma in Computer Science or Engineering.
 

Academics Rating
The requirement for this course was just to complete my 10th grade from a government-recognized board with 50% marks. The frequency of exam is like 2 exams in a semester. Apart from the weekly online test, there is mid semester, which is also known as internals exam, and the other one is external or end semester exam.
The fee structure is like Rs. 80,000 for per year, which is of 2 semesters.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very understanding and approachable, which makes us want to share our problems with them. They often come in help in every possible way we can imagine. The way of teaching is really great and students understand it pretty easily. The method of teaching is mix as they use projector and black board too. They are really informative and educated. There are almost 2 faculty for each subject.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell in the university which has not yet helped me because I am not in senior years but it has helped many of my seniors get job and internships. The average package offered is 5 LPA and highest is 20 LPA, yet. Many big companies come to Parul University to recruit their students.
 

Hostel Rating
I have not opted for hostel but from what I have heard from my friends, the hostels are clean and the rooms are big enough. They are given study tables along with other basic living amenities. The fee for hostel is almost Rs. 90,000.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure in Parul University is amazing as it has such variety of institutions that make this happen. The classrooms are of decent size and they have CCTV cameras. They even have projectors to study. There are various canteens so that the students can have any kind of food. It also has really great library and many other amenities.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is really good as it offers great things in campus. Many daily activities take place here. The university crowd is very vibrant. Fest takes place every year and management, invites a big celebrity for the fresher’s fest. Even at new years, the university makes sure that everyone would have fun. Therefore, it keeps 2 to 3 events like EDM nights, pool party, and movies.

    I am a student of B.Tech at Parul University. It has a very vibrant culture and there are students from all over India and abroad. My friends are from Manipur, Jammu, Lucknow, Vrindavan, Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Nigeria, Nepal, etc. It offers a stage for creative or talented people.     Before taking admission I discussed about the college within the friends or with family members. As we know Parul is a private university, the infrastructure of Parul is well developed and placement offered by the university is far better than other private universities.
