Adarsha College of Engineering B.Tech Review By Khirod Behera

Our college established in the year 2009. It is situated in Angul, which is industrial district of Odisha. This college famous for its well structured infrastructure. This college is connected with the top companies with NALCO, JSPL, NTPC, etc. Most of the student's intension is to take admission for joining power plants and mining sector.

They provide engineering course like B.Tech, M.Tech, Diploma and management course like MBA, This college is first mining engineering college of Angul. I joined EE through taking JEE exam. I joined because there is so many power plants are situated in Angul. So it is easy to take entry in those companies. So I joined this course.

From my experience the faculties are good but they are very stick to books But their way of presentation is good. Most of faculties are coming on temporary roll so it is very bad management. But many teacher are old and they are came from big universities .Those experience teacher is very good. They know how to cover the syllabus.

I am from EE branches so for EE branches mostly they provide Power plant jobs, Electricity Trainee post. Most of companies like NALCO, NTPC, MONNET, L&T are visiting for placement. Companies are also coming from other states to hire students. Adarsha College of Engineering placement cell also organizes study tour in various companies for quality teaching. We visited to MGM power plant which is situated 35 km away from college.

For boys they are having two hostels and for girls 1 hostel is present inside the campus. Adarsha College of Engineering hostel fees is Rs. 18,000 per year for Engineering Students. I must say they provide authentic Odia food. Every wed, fri and sun they provide nonveg food and other days they provide veg food. They provide 24x7 electricity, water. This campus is totally wi-fi campus. So you can easily study in online mode. All rooms have attached bathroom. So you never face problem like other hostels.

Our college is situated in a big campus. This college looks likes a University. The college is having big library with internet facilities. The study room is attached with library. There are so many canteens for specific department. They provide very cheap rate meal with 25-30 rupees. I think they may increase that price. But food quality quite good. The college is having 15-20 bus in working conditions. Most of the local students come by bus. This college is situated 6 to 7 km from Angul bus stand. Mostly students come by bus. The college buses are running in different root.

At last I would like to say that this college having well structured infrastructure. Adarsha College of Engineering campus is having good ambience. Every year Our college celebrates annual function, In Annual sports they conduct Indoor games, Outdoor games, Quiz, Essay Writing. The college is having cultural club with other social clubs.
