GITAM Hyderabad University Review

Overall Rating
I had one of the best experiences in GITAM University so far in my life. This University not just relies on our education but also provides a lot of memories. I made some of the best friends ever in this University. I chose this University because with my rank in other entrances I couldn’t join any other top tier University's but this had great infrastructure, great faculty and many more advantages. This is a deemed to be University so it has a very unique curriculum.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen computer science engineering at GITAM University. The eligibility is more than 60%ile in JEE Main and some amount of marks in your board exams. Admission process is very simple. It can be done online or even offline. They have their own website. The exams here happen in almost every 2 months and it isn't that complicated. The academics can help you prepare for real life challenges.
I have paid around Rs. 1,50,000 in GITAM University after scholarship. Usually it’s Rs. 3,50,000 per year. There is a special exam by which one can get scholarships. Even scholarships are attained through JEE Main, sports and even merit cum need scholarships are available.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are absolutely great in GITAM University. Every single faculty in this University is Ph.D holder. They have a very unique way of teaching. Our classrooms have high tech features from projectors to soundproof walls and more. Their problem solving abilities are very good. The teacher student ratio is not too big. My experience has been very great with the faculty so far. They have been very supportive to me.
 

Placement Rating
The placements in GITAM University are also pretty good. Almost 75% of the students get successfully placed in this incredible campus. The average package is almost 5 - 6 Lakhs per annum and highest package is 27 Lakh per annum. I have been in placement till now, so I can’t share my experience.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are top class in GITAM University’s campus. Full quality gyms, quality canteen food, quality bedrooms; both AC and Non-AC are provided. Hostel fees is almost Rs 1,20,000 per annum. I’m a day scholar and not a hosteller. But I went in and got a good experience.
 

Infrastructure Rating
GITAM University is absolutely big. It could be tiring at times. They have 3 huge canteens for students to relax. Even a mega cafe is available here. The campus has 3 auditoriums. The sports facilities are also very good here. I play volleyball a lot here. It’s pretty easy to make good friends here. Transport facilities are also available here. Both AC and Non-AC buses are available. 24/7 security services are provided. Almost 1,300+ CCTV cameras are there in this campus.
 

Campus Rating
Overall I had an incredible experience so far at GITAM University. The University crowd is very good. No one will ever regret coming to these events. The University even has multiple clubs. Clubs like tech clubs, dance clubs, debate clubs, and even sports clubs are here. There is a fest called PRAMANA which is a 3 day fest. So many celebrities come here to have an absolute blast. I loved my experience and have made a lot of memories.

    GITAM University is well established in terms of academics as NAAC gave A++ and has good faculties that hold M.Tech and Ph.Ds and are well qualified. Their teaching approaches are also interactive and classrooms are well equipped with air conditioners and projectors.
