Government College Angul is one of the oldest college in the region

Overall Rating
I feel happy to share my college experience. Because It is most well structured with good infrastructure college. It is Affiliated to Utkal University. If u want to join in UG then you have to score in+ 2 exams and if u want to join in PG program then you have to clear the entrance which was conducted by Odisha State Higher Education Council (OSHEC).
 

Academics Rating
I took admission in B.Com. I stayed in Angul that’s why I know about our college. I have a dream that I want to take higher education and do M.Com, Because this course will really help to get into Business Administration. Yes most of our courses are really helpful to get admission into M.Com Course.
 

Faculty Rating
I feel proud to say that our college is having good teaching and non-teaching faculty ever. Most of teachers are having teaching experience of 8-10 years, One of those Mr. Sugyani Rath, Mr. Pravati is best faculty. Most of teachers are having M.Com, M.Phil Degree. I think there is almost 22-25 faculties are there in our college.
 

Placement Rating
Our College provides training on our respective core field, But they didn't provide placement support. But they guide in every manner. They provide industry level teaching assistance.
 

Hostel Rating
There is separate hostel for both boys and girls. For boys there are 3 hostels available and for girls there is 2 hostels are available. They provide good quality food with hygienic manner. Most of the rooms are 3 to 4 sharing. Almost 500-600 students are staying in hostels. For security they have installed CCTV camera in every hostel with security guard.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our collage is having big campus. It is situated 2km away from Angul Bus stand. There is 1 library is there. Class rooms are clean but it getting old. For each science department there are good laboratories. One big auditorium is there. All seminars are conducted there. If you are a sports person then you can practice yourself because there is big cricket ground, Volley ball ground indoor games are also there.
 

Campus Rating
I would like to define in one word that Best college, Not because only of good faculty but its good infrastructure. Every year they conduct annual sports, Annual function and Branch Fresher Fest. Our college course curriculum is very well structured, Make sure that you have that passion to get success in your life, And then this college really helps you in every manner.

    Our college Govt. autonomous college is established in 1957. Later in the year 1958 it is functioned by C.M Harekrushna Mahatab and Kumuda Chandra Singh. This college is affiliated to Utkal University. If you have good mark in +2 exams then you can take admission in the college, But for PG the Odisha State Higher Education Council Conduct Exam to take admission.
