KIIT, Bhubaneswar: One of the Best Universities

Overall Rating
I made my life's best decision by selecting KIIT, Bhubaneswar for my bachelors. The environment here is so productive and refreshing. You get to explore everything here including character development to academic growth. Teachers here are very friendly and cooperative. Moreover the senior junior relationship is phenomenal. You feel like a second home here. The weather of this city is too adaptable and the food here is very refreshing and enjoyable.
 

Academics Rating
I took B.Tech in Computer Science. I was always interested in computers and the languages. So basically I opted that and everybody knows the placement in this branch is on top these days. IT sectors are on boost. The students are required to attain at least 75% in their Physics, Chemistry, Math and English in their 12th boards to get the criteria check. Apart from that the university organises an entrance exam "KIITEE”, according to the rank students get their branches and sub branches. The 4 years of this university will train you to face any challenge of life not only professionally but in every aspect of life.
My tuition fee at KIIT, Bhubaneswar is approx.. Rs. 15,00,000 for 4 years. For 1 semester we need to pay Rs 1,75,000. The fee does not include examination fees. Moreover you need to book the seat in the beginning by paying Rs. 75,000 which includes 1 Lenovo laptop, and hostel supplies. In this Rs. 10,000 is non refundable. After that you can pay the fees semester wise. For hostel, there is variety of accommodation and you can choose accordingly.
 

Faculty Rating
KIIT, Bhubaneswar has the best faculties. I would say you can face a little bit of trouble due to the language barriers as every professor at least 95% of them are Odia and there pronunciations are quite bad to understand sometimes but they are nice and cooperative. You will get along in few months. Few of them are new but in general they are helpful and can provide a very productive and good guidance for future placements and internships.
 

Placement Rating
Placements at KIIT, Bhubaneswar are very nice. The Training and Placement Cell of KIIT, Bhubaneswar (TNP) is very impressive. They make sure that almost everybody ends up with good placements. Not 100% of them get placed but yes most of them end with good placements. Average package last year for CSE was 6 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
We have all kinds of hostels means all type of accommodations. We have 3 bed non AC, 2 bed non AC – Rs. 40,000 /sem, 3 bed AC - Rs. 50,000 /sem, and 2 bed AC - Rs. 60,000 /sem. There comes premium hostel that included attached washroom and are 2 bedded and included AC. This is the most expensive of all - Rs. 75,000 / sem.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Very enhanced and advanced buildings are here at KIIT, Bhubaneswar. Very complex buildings are present here as the KIIT School of Architecture does wonders. The campus roads are also very good quality. The drainage system is very nice as the city has too much of unexpected heavy rain falls. According to that they have done a very good job. Every building has functional lifts (multiple) and every building has fire exits professionally done for safety purposes.
 

Campus Rating
The university life here is a blast. The university celebrates each and every festival with a lot of celebrations. They try to give everyone a sense of home. We got to experience the best fest ever here. The crowd I would say is mix. There are a lot of clubs to explore clubbing and KSAC provides a lot of sports activities if you want to practice. They even have fitness centers in the university campus.

    This Institute is a combination of extracurricular activities and great academics. KIIT provides a beautiful natural environment for students to study and perform their various vocational activities. One who is a great fan of sports and culture must come here cause it is the domain of all these.     KIIT is one of the best engineering institutes with a massive campus of above 600 acres. The classes are very modern and the hostels are very good. You can get hostel as per your affordability and the mess food is also good. There are study rooms in hostels and the library is huge. There are many fests which will never let you feel bored.     This institute is good. The fee is a bit higher than the other institutes. This still has some positives. For example, the institute provides a laptop to its each student. This laptop is of the latest model, and it's price is included in the fee.
