All about University of maharaja college

Overall Rating
Its name and great faculty is the main reason that inspired me to take admission here. If you are from science stream it might be the best college for you. The campus is very good, environment is very peaceful and faculty is very supportive. Hostels are very good and also with minimal cost that make it a better college.
 

Academics Rating
Admission process is simple and it’s based on 12th board marks. You have to fill the application form from University of Rajasthan's official website. After submission, there will be two or three merit lists. After checking your name in merit list you have to go to college and submit your documents. It's called document verification. After this process, classes will start within 15-20 days. This is science college and it offers you B.Sc pass course and hons. Hons. Course is a specialization course in one subject along with one subsidiary subject.
You have to pay Rs. 7,000 per annum as fee before admission. Other fee is exam registration fee which is variable according to subject between Rs. 1,800- 2,500. Students who get more than 60 percent in class 12th will be eligible to get Mukhyamantri Uchch Shiksha Kshatrvrati (Scholarship) which is of Rs. 5,000 per year for 3 years.
 

Faculty Rating
Maharaja College is affiliated with University of Rajasthan. The college is very prestigious and students here are from all over Rajasthan. They come here because there is an environment of study and because of faculty members. Faculty members are very good and all are highly educated and well known professors of Rajasthan. They are quite experienced and are friendly. The college environment is also very friendly.
 

Placement Rating
College is very prestigious and has many famous alumni in different sectors including sports administration and politics. There are many camps to provide information to students about career or jobs available.
 

Hostel Rating
Maharaja college has 2 hostels. Both the hostels are very good and are nearby to the college. It is at a distance of 5 minutes walking distance. Hostels are very good and the fee is also very minimal. Approximately Rs. 3,000 per month is the Hostel fee which includes all facility charges. Mess is very good and the food is also good. My personal experience has been very good in hostel and I have spent 2 years in Vivekananda hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is very big. It has more than enough space for sports and extracurricular activities. Administration also focuses Sports activities. There are many auditorium and big halls for seminar. Class rooms are very good and sitting arrangement is also very good. It can accommodate about 400 students. College has well stacked Library with more than 2,000 books. There are many books other than course related books. The students can read books and create a broad mindset. My favorite part is library.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is awesome. I have enjoyed my time here, made many friends from all over Rajasthan. I got to know about different languages, people, area and culture. All the students are toppers of their school so there is a competitive environment. It helps in personal growth. Best part is our college is the fest and fresher party. Seniors give us fresher’s party as welcome. We also have inter college fests. In this fest we have a lot of things to participate in with other college students like sports, dance, poetry, singing, etc.
