KIIT Bhubaneswar's Computer Science Program

I am Saurav Sharma Wagle and currently, I'm pursuing a UG degree in Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology in Computer Science and Engineering branch. My experience in this university has been great. This university has more than 20 campuses and covers a wide range of study areas. The university here provides great facilities to the student, and has a very great environment for the students. There are many facilities available for the students if they are interested in sports or any other extra curriculum activities.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology provides many courses which a student can choose and pursue their career in that field. The course that I've chosen is Computer Science and Engineering. I was always tech enthusiastic person. I always had interest in Computers. When I was in eleventh grade I decided to pursue my career as Computer Science Engineer. To get enrolled in this university one needs to have a good grade in grade twelve. The admission process is simple; one needs to give the entrance examination for the admission.

This university has a good fees structure for all the students. The fee which a student pays here is Rs. 2,00,000 which include his university fee, hostel fee, and many more things. Also this university provides scholarship for all those students who are good in academics as well as in extracurricular activities.

The faculty at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology here is average. I am not talking about every faculty teachers but there are some teachers who are not that good enough. Most of the teachers are highly skilled, has a great knowledge and teaches very interestingly to the student, but there are some who are not that good. They have a great knowledge and highly qualified. Every teacher here teaches using the ppt's that they had prepared and if necessary using the whiteboard.

I don't have that much knowledge about the placements at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology.

There are many hostels in this university for boys and girls. The hostel facilities are good, they provide quality foods and the rooms here are also good and big and it's being cleaned daily by the helpers. There are premium and non premium hostels for the students they can stay at any hostel according to their interest.

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology covers a wide range of area. It has more than 20 plus campus buildings and 30 plus hostels for the students. In campus there are separate classes for theory and practical. The classes are also big and seating capacity is up to 80 students in a class. There are many grounds like cricket stadium, football stadium and many more for the students where they can go and play and be physically fit. They provide coaching in every sport. There are many sports complex where a student can go for exercising, swimming and do many things. There are many libraries for the students whether be it departmental or central. This university provides great medical facilities to the students who are unwell.

My overall campus life has been good here so far. I have really enjoyed reading here. The people here are fantastic and enjoyable. There are many clubs for the students where they can join and grow together, whether be it in technology field or in e-commerce field or any other. This university organizes different program in the university so that the students can enjoy and be fresh. Every year it organizes fest and different events in different occasion for the students where they enjoy fully. The college life is good here if you have a nice group of friends.
