NIT Trichy's Impressive Placement Success

My overall experience in my Institute was fantastic. I'll start with how I got into this Institute, I wrote JEE Main and got 98 percentile. My Institute is having NIRF ranking 9. The infrastructure is the best. I got this Institute through JOSAA counseling. My rank was 17,687 AIR and 3,820 OBC. Because of that I got mechanical engineering department. The course curriculum is so relevant and the professors here are really well educated and experienced. The peer group is like almost every individual here are topper in their schools so the best part of it is the kind of competition you feel in this Institute which drives you to Perform well. Finally the placements are really good.

Here in NITT, the curriculum is revised every now and then so the content you study here will make you industry ready. It's good if you opt for pursuing higher education. The faculties here are all well experienced and well educated. There is no ego in them. You can be very friendly with them. I got this Institute because of JEE Main rank. For mechanical engineering the cutoff was around 5k OBC rank for home state people, so mine fitted well and I got into it.

Yearly you have to pay Rs. 1,25,000 Tuition fee and Rs. 80,200 for hostel and mess fee. Apart from that every year there is a one-time fee which includes Wi-Fi, exam and other miscellaneous fee which comes around Rs. 15k.

The professors here are from all over the country. All will speak in English so you don't have to worry about the communication barrier as the Institute is in Tamil Nadu. The professors here are well educated and experienced. They will be very friendly with you and as it is an autonomous Institute the faculties have complete control over the course which they take. They decide the marking scheme and the grading everything.

One of the best part about this Institute is also placements. As I was a mechanic engineering undergraduate, the companies coming for core field are less but the companies coming for software, analytics and management roles pay really well.

My hostel days in NITT were fantastic. I made a lot of friends even from other departments. The room is very compact and in good condition. You have electricity all the day. You have a separate Wi-Fi router in each room. The bathrooms are clean. The playing area is well maintained. Actually you will be rotated every year to different hostel. But almost all hostels look same.

Infrastructure of the Institute is as good as IITs, very good classrooms with Air conditioning, and in some room you have internet. The computer labs are Fully functional with lots of computer and steady internet connection and subscription to many software's which are very useful to study. The library of our Institute is immensely huge, you will get every kind of book there. You can find everything there.

My overall campus life in NIT Trichy is like a golden years of my life. I won't forgive those years. The connections I made here I hope I'll be in touch with them my entire life. Now I also landed in a good job. I made my parents proud. Here there is a saying NITT is a Pride of India and that is so true.
